No matter what I do (more info on what I interested in is there https://github.com/UdjinM6?tab=repositories  Wink) I learn from it and I guess it could help Dash too.

Keep it up!

The Vindication of Edward Snowden

Awesome, I hope the poor boy will be able to come home soon.  Even if 99.9% of Americans are too stupid to understand what he did for us, what it took, the bravery, the sacrifice, I hope he knows the rest of us do understand and are in awe of his strength!

The link is broken. http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2015/05/the-vindication-of-edward-snowden/392741/ is the correct one.

I would not say 99.9% of all Americans are "too stupid..." but one must admit, no matter the percentage, the "average" American has zero chance of getting anything. Never before a nation had been exposed -- to generations and generations long -- merciless propaganda where lies are truths and truthsayers are the "enemy," like Ed Snowden...

I would urge everyone that owns a masternode to take the time and actually put a vote out
which will directly influence the % for NEA and YEA votes.

Its time to bring the number of masternode owners  not having voted yet down people !!

Read more about the voting proposal here :

Original voting proposal :

https://dashtalk.org/threads/vote-self-sustainable-decentralized-governance-by-blockchain.4825/

Update on original proposal :

https://dashtalk.org/threads/vote-self-sustainable-decentralized-governance-by-blockchain.4825/page-4#post-53665

How To Vote :

To vote, simply copy your masternode.conf into your dash directory, open the software then execute the command “masternode vote-many yea” or “masternode vote-many nay”.

To vote with a single masternode you can use the command “masternode vote yea” or “masternode vote nay”.

How to view the voting results so far :

https://dashtalk.org/threads/halle-berrys-masternode-info-tools.3036/ (check the exspected payment per masternode / day)

How to view the results of your own voting :

First off, this is why there needs to be a Dash newsletter. Many of us masternode owners are living our real lives and only occasionally checking on the mn address and VPS...and rarely checking out this board.
Second, is there a guide ala Tao's masternode guide (ie ELI5) to enabling mn to vote and voting if I have a VPS mn? Frankly, I'm amazed everyday that I set this thing up, but it was because Tao's guide was fantastically thorough for us non-programming dummies.

really not that hard !

I disagree, tungfa, I think it should have gone out on the email list, which it didn't and I only just noticed.  We have that mailing list, and I guess it's mostly for pool operators and exchanges, etc... but it's also where I get my alerts.  Why didn't it go out there?  If we want to keep the emails separate, then maybe we need a Masternode Email list.

Quick question: Should I be worried that Udjin is now (also?) a Coin2.1 dev?

https://github.com/UdjinM6/Coin2.1

It's not "now", I've been there long time before joining Darkcoin/Dash. Evan is aware of it, I warned him at the very beginning when he asked me about joining Darkcoin team.

And also:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annc2-coin2-pos-official-thread-bf3-bf4-csgo-chain-of-conflict-824499
..snip...
Well, worried in the sense that he'll divide his limited time between two (or more) projects I mean.
.........
Of course it's open source and he should work on whatever he finds most interesting, it's just that as an investor I'd find it midly unsettling if that isn't Dash

tl;dr;
No matter what I do (more info on what I interested in is there https://github.com/UdjinM6?tab=repositories  Wink) I learn from it and I guess it could help Dash too.

Long version:
1) I made block explorer http://c2chain.info/ It was based on insight-api by bitpay https://github.com/UdjinM6/c2chain-api earlier. I used that knowledge of how/what/where to modify to make https://github.com/UdjinM6/darkcore , https://github.com/UdjinM6/insight-api-dash and https://github.com/UdjinM6/bitcore-dash later. Tests are broken there but libs should work and they could be building blocks for smth... Roll Eyes
2) Although I'm not very active there since I'm in Darkcoin/Dash team but I still maintain block explorer and recently spent a day learning/fixing coin code/build scripts to be compilable on Mac (I'm a Mac user myself). Once I finally made it I wanted to share it and that's why there is a github repo, recent build-fix release https://github.com/UdjinM6/Coin2.1/releases/tag/v2.1.2 and this post https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.11350924 It's a POS coin btw - I know how it works in theory but I'm also interested in how this thing works in code. Maybe one day this will be useful too... Wink

Thanks Udjin. I see this as a positive thing for sure,   I equate that to liking to drink other wines from other wineries around the world, even though I own my own winery....it gives me perspective and ability to look or taste things from a different angle in which I can then apply to my own wines.  Wink.  Cheers
