You now say like this: why do you need a large apartment, you do not have children yet, but if they appear, then maybe we will change it to another. The Fund exists to buy expensive equipment and maintain a network . Or have you run out of coins in your Fund?

I want a nice apartment at once, so the Windows were on different sides for ventilation, to wait and to believe the promises not very interesting

why not do a hard fork now? We love cars that can drive 300 kilometers per hour despite the fact that we go several times slower

Some desperate developers try to "sell" that more transactions per second is the only way for a project to succeed. And I think (and i am glad DASH devs think the same) this is nonsense. Like your 300 km/h car in a 80 km/h road in a little town.

We have PrivateSend, InstantSend, ChainLocks, governance, Self-Funding budget, etc. and working hard for the real adoption in South America. I am very proud of the work the team is doing.

We will have more tps when needed. As @qwizzie said this is something the community can decide and implement very easily.

If a lot of people would really want this, then Dash has the option to poll its network and see if there is a majority for it.
This is how the 2MB blocksize increase got approved in the first place : https://www.dashcentral.org/p/2mb-blocksize

Someone can put up a proposal for 5 Dash and masternode owners will then vote about the changes you have in mind for Dash.
However with the necessity missing for such changes (as Dash blocks are nowhere near full), such proposal has little chance of passing.

More than 5 times the block size can be increased by hard fork?

yes, possibly. It means changing protocol from current block propagation protocol to another (x-thin ?) block propagation protocol.
I assume that will need a spork / hard fork / mandatory update at some point, if thats the direction that Dash is taking at that (future) time.

Hard forks are handled through sporks with Dash.

Hard fork will be able to fix the scaling, or only through the creation of new coin?

Each blocksize upgrade will need to be adressed in code and most likely first voted upon by the masternode owners
(who also voted on the 2mb blocksize increase). I'm not sure if such a code change equals a hard fork, i think it will
just change a certain code in a certain file.

The possible changing of the protocol towards implementing extremely thin (x-thin) block propagation will most likely need a hard fork.

Talking about scaling fix, looks like Bitcoin has its own problems with its scaling solution : https://coingape.com/lightning-networks-vulnerability-exposes-users-loss-funds/

I do not trade, I am a long-term investor

Same here. Except for the occassional mn payment convertion to fiat.
Some of Dash deposits on exchanges go surprisingly fast, even without InstantSend enabled on them.

today I wanted to go to Dash because BSV deposits are long on all exchanges, 144 confirmations need, it is inconvenient to withdraw parts to  pocket money, so I wrote here

Most exchanges still require 6 confirmations for Dash deposits.
There are a some exchanges that implemented InstantSend on their deposit side, which speeds up Dash deposits considerably (within seconds).

You could check for yourself if the exchange you use support Dash and if it supports Instantsend on deposits and / or withdrawels.
It should give you an edge with regards to trading (if you are into trading).

it's not me, it's those people who are fans of bitcoin, they are jealous of the big block BSV and attack us fans of this coin instead of just going into it Smiley

This is an intentional not-moderated thread, only Bitcointalkforum moderators have the power to moderate this Dash ANN thread.
All are welcome to express their opinion through posting, as long as they dont break any forum rules they will be fine.

Excessive trolling can be handled by putting an ignore on such poster. We will just have to see if alevlasio deserves such an ignore or not
(this largely depends on himself).
