What Litecoin's Halving Tells Us About Cryptocurrency "Alt Season" Hopes

Litecoin has been an anticipated market winner from some time, with the halving of its block reward emission as a key factor predicted as possibly taking the price even higher. Similarly, as Bitcoin dominance continues to be high, many investors keep hope alive that “alt season” is just around the corner, when their preferred investments will take back a large market share.

The dash again updates the new bottom at 0.009BTC you are scammers !!!

We are at December 2016 Vs BTC prices

The chart is bearish in dollars & BTC in the long term, competitors such as Monero, BCH, BSV, LTC capitalize and improve their capitalizations with respect to us.

wrong strategy?

Little or bad publicity, or poorly oriented?

It's easy to blame the exchanges ... I do it, but I've been in other projects invested, and what I see here is the usual:

Dash is the best! ... However, even if I think about it, the market doesn't think that way, or not at least now.

We are the project that has made the most funds available on a recurring basis ... any company with Dash funds, which simply dedicated to selling soft drinks, may have already been a globally recognized brand.

Multiply the monthly budgets since Dash is Dash, and let's think if with such an expense we are where we should.

I have been very much invested here for years, I have already commented before, I am a businessman, and a multi investor, but I think this is being diluted just at the moment where only the strongest survives ... regardless of who is better.

Greetings and good health to all, I still believe in the project despite the bad time in capitalization regarding many competitors, and I think there will soon be a turn

Karen Hsu: Cryptocurrency Regulation, Dash vs. Bitcoin Privacy, Crypto Taxes & Blockchain Analysis

I had the distinct pleasure of chatting with Karen Hsu of BlockchainIntel, a company conducting blockchain analysis for the purposes of risk scoring transactions, detecting fraud, and avoiding theft. BlockchainIntel recently partnered with Dash to assist in analyzing the blockchain for exchanges to be able to accurately assess the risk of accepting certain transactions, potentially opening the door to new integrations from services previously wary of Dash and its advanced privacy features.

We talked about Bitcoin vs. Dash privacy, and how Bitcoin actually has a higher percentage of usage in darknet markets and whose transactions are more often mixed. We also covered what blockchain analysis can and can’t do, and the difference between personally identifying individuals and their financial activity and simply watching for movements that can be associated with illicit activity. Finally, we touched on cryptocurrency tax reporting, and what old-school users can do if they acquired most of their coins prior to having any kind of a reasonable paper trail to prove where they came from.

Farewell o_e_l_e_o
Every crypto currency need to have communities behind to grow. In 2017, bitcoin took advantage of its expansion to Middle-East nations to exploded and hit its all time high. Stellar has same stories with its growths and its communities-growths years before. Those stories gave me strong belief that from what DASH project has kept working to expand, and strengthen their communities in Latin American nations will play important roles, power, and momentum for DASH future growths. I do think that we have good reasons to belief in DASH.

Everybody has to accept that if smart contracts and other facilities are launched in the up and coming upgrade then things will really be looking good for DASH and its investors

Just remember that Dash smart contracts are not comparable to Ethereum's smart contracts and depends heavily on developers getting involved.
Dash "smart" contracts are more like data-type contracts which stores meta data on the Dash Drive (basicly the masternode network).

Thank you for your post.

Do you think their is appetite to try go down this route by devs in the DASH community?

There is definetely an appetite by devs to get this data-style contract rolling. There will be organised developer meetings where Dash will promote this and developers
will get the dev tools to develop dApps for Dash. It will just take time, but it will be interesting to see what kind of dApps and contracts will emerge over time.

End goal will be for dApps to run entirely on Dash Drive, but that could take awhile. For now (with v1.0) its just the meta data that gets stored there, which is an important step on itself.

So even with the whole plans in place the truth is implementations are far away. That is to a degree disappointing to say the least.

As long as they plan the way forward meticulously then it may as well take time but I hope they are a success when they update because of the time energy and efforts of people involved.

Anyway as long as there is open debate and conversations about a roadmap and anybody can contribute opinions hopefully DASH will continue to have a bright future.
