3. I'm no figurehead (nor do we have one at all). Nobody gives a shit what I say, I'm just some guy on a forum

Doesn't matter.

If you want to hang on to the 'trusted' part, try giving the incessant smear tactics a break. Promote your project on its merits rather than making desperate attempts to stick mud on others.

Of all the troll and FUD we have been the subject of in recent weeks I am still dumfounded that Smooth, as a lead dev of another coin, has gone to such lengths to discredit Darkcoin with no effort to back it up with even logic let alone evidence.  At least people like AdamJoan above had no credibility to lose in the first place and are not figureheads for an entire community...

Bullshit.

1. I'm not the "lead dev" I'm just one team member

2. There was plenty of logic in my posts as every objective reply acknowledged. Yes there were a few (granted not many) who were neither known DRK fanboys or known XMR fanboys. Agree or disagree, fair enough. Just because you don't like where it leads, don't deny the reality. BTW, most of what I said, Kristof Atlas said the same thing, to his credit.

3. I'm no figurehead (nor do we have one at all). Nobody gives a shit what I say, I'm just some guy on a forum. This business of putting me up on a pedestal just to take cheap shots at another coin is pretty pathetic.

How do I quickly find my last post in this thread and if anyone answered it? I posted at the wrong time and this thread blew up!

Is this the one you're looking for?

Is there any known issue for the windows 64bit client not responding for periods of time, especially clicking in the coin control or after a transaction?

I don't know if there's a quicker way but I clicked on your profile and then the link "Show the last posts of this person", then I did "Ctrl + f" to find "DRK". There were only two instances on the page.

Yes thanks, I couldn't tell what page it was on to start checking.

I do that way too, but I was hoping there was something easier.

We will do it Smiley

+1

They're a bit desperate.

Specially when you're a coindev of a significant project and you publicly get down and dirty with the trolls to accuse another dev who's had industry recognition - whatever its merits - of 'incompetence'.

That's why I decided I could justifiably post this.... https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.10702964

instamined : the magic word to say when you didn't really find any downside to Darkcoin.

It's the loser's last resort! I don't understand the mentality - all you need to do is invest in dark to win in the end.

Man, I was sound asleep and the noise in this thread woke me up ...  Grin

Gotta love trolls. They come in waves of pure irracional "declarations of truth" and just keep beating a dead horse. I miss having an intelligent troll to argue with. They were so much more fun than irracional ones. But at least they all serve the purpose to bump this thread into BTC history. But these younger ones... man, they do like making complete idiots of themselves, by themselves. Its totally illogical. Where oh where have all the rational trolls gone??

It's curious why the whole instamine thing just keeps revolving and revolving and revolving... not evolving. It has all been publicly explained and everything checks out on the damn blockchain!! I wish I was there too, I realised a bit too late my GPU were being wasted on scrypt.

I would suggest to stop replying to any of AdamWhite's posts. He clearly has no real argument and is just trying to get a reaction from everyone.

If the best thing he can come up with is 'instamine scam coin' then it's pretty clear he is scraping the bottom of the barrel.

I have never seen someone so desperate to try and FUD the market so he can buy in low.....

I think he gets more kicks out of winding people up than making money.

Dear Mr White,

I want to thank you for the efforts you are putting forward on my behalf. I too was unable to take advantage of the instamine and was late coming to the table. As a result I have scraped and skimped trying to buy these scam coins for months now. Every time I think I might be close to being able to buy enough for a masternode, that accursed Evan (criminal that he is) manages to improve the code, and his dupes just keep buying more and driving the price higher and higher so that my dream of a masternode keeps sliding out of my reach. It seems I am always three or four months away from getting one.

I have managed to acquire just over 800 at this point but now the coins are selling for around $3.40. I can only muster around $200/mo so I am really hoping your FUD campaign will wave off new buyers and cause the price to fall, so I can complete my masternode before the price really takes off. Please put some more thought into your campaign, because I am concerned that it may not be having the effect that you and I both hope for.

I am afraid that the dastardly Evan Duffield (LOL--you're right what an obviously fake name) will just keep cranking out new improvements and attracting new developers; unfortunately, I doubt he does more than chuckle at your lucid revelations. That means you MUST impact the newbies coming here. Unfortunately, you keep repeating yourself and failing to address the ridiculous assertions of tokenormal (yeah, I know--what is he smoking?) and his fiendish cohorts. Please, don't give up! I, and so many others are counting on you to hold the price down in the face of ongoing improvements and increasing demand. I know it is difficult for you, but if you can't hold the price down for us, who will we turn to?

Sincerely (or not),

Strix
