DASH is the future of crypto payments!
Total Masternodes: 1451 = 1450 actives + 1 inactives (Last refresh: Fri Dec 12 2014 16:38:53)
Estimated daily payout for an active node (blocks with MN payments last 24h: 100%): 0.59 DRK/day (Last Refreshed: Fri Dec 12 2014 16:18:55)

I was thinking about this betting sites... it's atually a great way to transfer funds to cash without taxes.

Assuming 1DRK=$2

You bet 10DRK in a soccer game with a odd of 3 on directbet.
You bet $20 (you risk $60 (3*$20)) against it on betfair/betdaq (must be an Exchange).

It can go either way.

Team wins:
You get 30DRK ($60) on directbet
and loose $60 in Betfair/Betdaq

Team looses:
You get 10DRK ($20) on betfair
and loose 10DRK in directbet

IT'S NOT A WAY TO MAKE MONEY!!!

It's just a way to get DRK->Cash or Cash->DRK
But it can go the other way arround...

Hope you understand my thoughts (and english)...

Is there a Spanish community somewhere? I was just asked and I actually don't know of one.

I´m spanish and willing to help in promoting DRK and perhaps translating things to spanish.

Regards.

Thanks for the info guys. I could not wait and run my second wallet in a Virtual Machine. I got the MN# 1440 and 1441 :)I am short 175 DRK to get my MN#3. I have a small bet placed. If everything goes the way I wanted, I should have my MN#3 this Sunday and have 30DRK left over for my next bet Smiley . Of course if DRK prices stay still till then.

For a situation like yours another user made a deal with splawik21 and me in which splawik21 lent him the funds he still didn't have for his next masternode and I escrowed. I had the cold wallet for that masternode in escrow (the loan funds and the part that user already had) while it generated payments to repay the loan and fees. The user sent the payments from his other masternodes to that wallet, so everything was repaid faster. Once everything was ready, I sent the funds back to each party.

If your bet doesn't you the way you expect and you are interested in something similar please post in darkcointalk's marketplace (https://darkcointalk.org/forums/marketplace.9/).
Indeed all went smooth.
Thnx Fernando.

There is no if, i will win or win Smiley no otherway. If stupid Panatinakos could hang in there 2 more minutes, I would already have the 3rd MN up and running. They missed so many one on ones, and opponent scored in 88th minute. It was their first serious attack and ended up being a goal.

Is there any guide explaining how to run multiple wallets in same OS, or you folks use virtual machine for each MN address?

?

I have many on one windows machine, each wallet has its own copy of the blockchain though

Folder structure is like this:

C:\Users\Stonehedge\AppData\Roaming\DarkCoin\MN1\
C:\Users\Stonehedge\AppData\Roaming\DarkCoin\MN2\
C:\Users\Stonehedge\AppData\Roaming\DarkCoin\MN3\
C:\Users\Stonehedge\AppData\Roaming\DarkCoin\MN4\
C:\Users\Stonehedge\AppData\Roaming\DarkCoin\MN5\
C:\Users\Stonehedge\AppData\Roaming\DarkCoin\MN6\
...

Command line switch for MN10 would be as follows.  When you first execute the command a new wallet is created in the subfolder and blockchain downloaded.

darkcoin-qt.exe -datadir=C:\Users\Stonehedge\AppData\Roaming\DarkCoin\MN10\

How to use the -datadir argument on a MAC anyone knows. It won't open with the arguments. Thanks

In your teminal:

Code:
/Applications/DarkCoin-Qt.app/Contents/MacOS/DarkCoin-Qt -datadir=xxxx; exit;

change the -datadir=xxxx to your datafile location.

Thanks I'll  give it a try

or for example, this works too:

Code:
open -a /Applications/DarkCoin-Qt.app --args -datadir=/Users/username/Library/Application\ Support/DarkCoin1

darkcoin-qt.exe -datadir=C:\Users\Stonehedge\AppData\Roaming\DarkCoin\MN10\

that's unnecessary.

I recommend:

create a data directory folder, name it something other than Darkcoin. for example, C:/hotdog/

create another folder to put the .exe in, for example C:/hamburger/ and rename darkcoin-qt.exe to something else. for example, hamburger.exe

for your masternode #1, create a .conf file in the C:/hamburger/ folder, for example taco1.conf
for your masternode #2, create taco2.conf
for your masternode #3, create taco3.conf
etc...

for your masternode #1, create a shortcut to hamburger.exe, and name the shortcut for example taco1. click Properties, and change the Start in: to C:/hamburger/ and change Target: to
C:/hamburger/hamburger.exe -datadir=C:/hotdog/ -wallet=taco1 -conf=C:/hamburger/taco1.conf
when you first open the taco1 shortcut, it will create a new wallet called taco1 in the C:/hotdog/ folder and use the taco1.conf from the C:/hamburger/ folder.

create a new shortcut for each additional masternode the same way.

once your masternodes are running, I recommend keeping all the wallet files somewhere safe until you need to access them. import all their private keys into a single wallet if you want to cash in your masternode payments all at once using coin control.

I'm creating an instructional video tutorial for all of this, plus how to set up masternodes and update them.
