I want to transfer 90 DRK from a very old wallet on 9.13.15
It errors with
Code:
Transaction too large
is that normal?
It would let me do 10, but for a fee?

Fees are incurred by transactions according to size in bytes, not size in currency amount. Use coin control to select your inputs to keep the size in bytes below the fee threshold.

Ah thanks, the wallet has thousands of transactions from p2p mining, so thats the reason?

I've ran into the same issue myself. https://darkcointalk.org/threads/linux-qt-wallet-unresponsive.2620/

All the dust from p2pool seems to create way too many TX's for QT to operate properly. At the time, I had over 2600 TX's with a wallet size of 26Mb's. If you import the private key from the address with the p2pool dust, you'll run into the same issue as before.

The command line daemon operates fine with a large wallet size. If the QT wallet becomes so bad that you can't do anything with it, you'll have to use the command line daemon to transfer the entire balance to a new wallet.

I pushed it in slices to another wallet.
Is that going to reoccur with a new wallet after some time, after how many transactions?

If you let the wallet get out of control with dust and other micro transactions, yes. The best thing to do would be proactive about it every week or two about combining tx.

- The BlockChain has Officially ended the month of OCTOBER. -
- - - - - 00:00 UTC / 20:00 EST / and 08:00 in HK 2014.11.01- - - - -

I want to thank my clients - you guys are the best :-)

End-Of-Month MN pay-outs will be delivered over the next 6 hours.

 - - - - -
I have finally came up with the Official Name: United MasterNode
Will be working on the logo soon :-)
 - - - - -

Looking for the next MN to be setup: 600DRK needed
I have 2 people with 200DRK that needed to be paired up...... Who wants in ?

Send email to: [email protected]

Mangled Blue

UPDATE: All Clients have been paid out :-)

Props to Mangled Blue and Flare, dont hesitate to use this service if you dont have enough for your own MN.

Thank you Sir :-D
BUMP :-D

So coins are held in escrow and not personally held?

How do you then create a 1000 DRK masternode?

Clients send the coins to me and I am the Escrow.

I create a separate wallet.dat and darkcoin.conf file for each MN.
Once the 1000DRK has been gathered, I contact Flare and he gives me the needed MN Server info.

Flare's fee is paid upfront for the Server.

At the end of the month, I issue the MN payout per the percentage stake for each Client.

I run a number of United MasterNode(s) for a number of different people.

Some MN's have 80/20, 50/50, 60/40 and I even have a few MN's where the Client just doesn't want to do anything but collect the DRK payout, so I hold the entire 1000DRK.

You can find more info here:
https://darkcointalk.org/threads/services-darkcoin-mn-escrow-service.2701/

Also if you scroll down you can see a current example of Ecrow fee
Flare's fee is $9/mo per MN and you would be accessed a portion of said fee per percent stake.

A spreadsheet is kept of all transactions and fee(s), of which you can request a copy of at anytime, after the end of the month payout.

You will also be given the MN IP and Address so you can follow along with the BlockChain.

This is a very transparent and open services.

I really want individuals that are looking long term. People that just want to get in for a few days or weeks, need not apply. You are being "paired-up" with people that have long-term goals. When a client leaves a MN, they break the MN, unless a replace is found ASAP

Please feel free to send email to:

[email protected]
or
[email protected]

email accounts are linked so you can use either one.
Please feel free ask any question's

HAPPY MASTERNODE'ING

(this  ecrow service is Evan and Flare approved :-)

That's pretty awesome, but i'm hesitant to hand over large amounts. Even tho im like 99% sure you wouldn't run off.

Darkcoin has been added to alcurex.org and trading on it will open shortly.

AlcurEX OY is a registered cryptocurrency exchange based in Finland.

They provide trading against USD, as well as USD deposit/withdrawal

Hi,i need help for synchronizing the wallet need the new darkcoin.conf

New Qt does not need one
But is so slow  24h  and yet not synchronizing  Embarrassed

Exit Qt
Delete peers.dat

Run Qt

report back
This same   Embarrassed

I have exactly the same problem with one of my wallets on a Win7 64bit PC. I've tried everything mentioned in this thread to solve it - but nothing works. I believe the problem lies in the actual build of Darkwallet.exe, as CPU usage is very high when it's running/syncing, it frequently freezes & displays the (not responding) error before unlocking itself again & is generally slow & unresponsive. All my other wallets are on this PC & my Xubuntu ones and are running fine.
I have the same problem exactly 100% the same as yours.

Guys, if you are still having issues please submit them there too http://jira.darkcoin.qa/secure/Dashboard.jspa

Yep. You're just going to have to spend ten minutes shuffling all those tiny inputs into a larger lump or lumps.

I know I'm a day late, but the MN monitoring and text message software "$MN$" will be available tomorrow. It is wayy more general and error resistant than my first inclination for release. The code is hard right now, I'm just touching up the tutorial and visual stuff. Again, I know the pros are already pulling this stuff off, but it can't hurt to provide a program for anyone who wants to receive a text message for every MN payment without sinking a bunch of time into code. Can confirm it supports unlimited MNs, and is purring along like a dream. Tomorrow I'll make a *.zip available as well as the source code, hope someone can make use of it. Personally, I set the sound my phone makes when receiving notify from the program to the "Back to the future" sound when the timeline changes... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gt_8Heme49w
Alright, way to go. Thanks for the update!

Are you using a Darkcoin API, JSON generated output, or?

Its using data from the mirror of the official block chain explorer. Pretty simple little tool.

but i find it alarming that one pool can have so much control over our network

"Unknown" on chainz means just that, it doesn't mean that the 52% is all one pool, it isn't.

Rest assured that there are three pools that between them own >50% of the network, not just one. Centralised hashpower secures the network, it is absolutely not a giant fucking liability in any way!

okay, i misunderstood the chart. thanks

okay, the network difficulty this high is perhaps not unusually (it jumped a couple of times this high .. this day) but i find it alarming that one pool
can have so much control over our network and on a sidenote : current block 162338 seems to take forever to clear (i have a transaction verification thats taking longer too now)

edit : block just cleared, thereby confirming my transaction

It's not one pool, it's just a lack of information - there are some pools that cryptoid doesn't recognize
