There is only so much support for Dash at 1.8. When those bids are gone, it's a free fall down to zero.
If nobody fills Evan's thought leadership role, Dash will continue to crash vs coins like Monero, which are run by real cypherpunks who actually write and ship working code.Firing Chuck Williams is a good sign Dash Inc is going to stop the endless bike-shedding of Evolution's UI, but it's not enough to stop the downward trend. More heads need to roll, starting at the top with Ryan Taylor.
Sad to see the DashHoles so angry they are lashing out at the critics who warned them this would happen, but were ignored or called "trolls" as thanks for their insights.

Another new low for Dash versus XMR. The market looked at the pixelated screengrab Dash calls a roadmap and had a good laugh because there is no way Evolution is really going to ship this year.
Bitmain/Antpool is currently holding the Dash network hostage and will not let it activate the upgrade to v12.3, so getting v12.4 *and* v13 out and activated before 2019 is just more wishful thinking from the DashHole cargo cult.
Most bearish of all is the refusal to demote Ryan Taylor for his years of incompetent leadership, during which Dash lost its #3 position and fell all the way down to #15.
The MNOs have sunk such huge sums into their Masternodes they succumb to the temptation to protect the very incompetent managers and devs who have created the mess that caused Evolution to be years overdue.

Dash Funded Cannabis Research Stands to Improve Seed-to-Sale Tracking
Dash’s partnership with Medicinal Genomics (MGC) is allowing a better understanding of the cannabis genome, which stands to improve the industry’s seed-to-sale tracking systems.
Within the Untied States, the legalization process is being done separately and independently by each state, but each state has tended to follow a similar model that involves a seed-to-sale tracking system. The intended goal is to ensure that regulators know where all legally grown marijuana is at all times to ensure cannabis is safely being sold to consumers, as well as ensure that the state governments get their tax revenue on all marijuana transactions.

Are your calculations correct? Who would pay 24.38BTC or $160,000 just for $900?

Remember that we are still very much at the bottom, as the Dash price increase so will the masternode reward (in FIAT) increase.
(same with miners). In bull markets masternode payments can become extremely profitable.
A good strategy would be to buy masternodes in a bear market and profit of them pretty much risk-free in a bull market.
I suspect Dash Neptune follows such a strategy too, although their strategy seems more focussed on extending their masternodes
by saving up their masternode payments and starting new ones.

Note that Neptune Dash is not directly related to Dash, as it is basicly a private investment corporation that offers its shares on a public exchange.
But it does form an interesting example and it could be an interesting option right now to those traditional investors active on stock markets
that are not willing yet to dive directly into crypto.

iCEBREAKER, you actually make one or two good points on rare occasion. The trouble is you have relentlessly trolled this thread for years. And at times admitted trolling and reveled in it. Only a week or so ago you were stating how you look forward to profiting from shorting Dash. Do you see the difficulty in taking anything you say seriously? What are we to believe about your motivations for these posts?

a lot of great news coming from dash project, buying and holding for long term is good choice for investors. i have been taking astronaut courses to prepare for upcoming events.
