Everybody.
Eduffield needs help. We can't continue having him as the one central guy who has to fix and update the code all the time.
We need to attract more programmers, possibly even better more experienced programmers than eduffield himself.
...
Bump that
+ Python Developer !!!!Has Evan actually stated he wants more people involved in core development at this point? There should be a confirmation before we start asking around.
A short job description would be nice as well.
Well, it came out when he recently addressed the hacker...
Just now: I found out what's going on, I'll have an update out in a few minutes Edit: props to whoever figured this out, pretty cool hack
I could use some help programming whoever you are
I am a programmer myself, and I say from experience that 4 eyes see more than 2 eyes, 2 brains try more things out and anticipate more things than just 1 brain...
That's just the way it is.
Also, please understand that I do not care what eduffield "wants" at this point. I don't even understand why you have to ask this question.
Even if evan were AGAINST new core devs coming to darkcoin (
which ofcourse he isn't ) we would want other people to join nonetheless.
This is the open source collaboration era, you don't ask for permission, you just contribute or not.And if the new code is valuable it will be added to the next version.
I truly hope we will soon have additional core devs, this will push darkcoin to the next level.
The whole point of going open source was to attract more core devs, that's ultimately what's needed to build confidence.
What good is open source code when there are no OTHER qualified code devs taking the time to actually look at the code?
