Dash Core Group has released additional details of its legal structure, including the irrevocable trust that owns Dash Core Group and can legally own assets on behalf of the network.
In a post by Ryan Taylor, CEO of the Core team, the organization’s legal structure as a C-corporation is outlined, which removed many of the severe restrictions imposed by a nonprofit foundation, which included the ability to work on developing and promoting Dash exclusively:

Dash Venezuela Documentary Showcases the Cryptocurrency Revolution in Latin America
A new brief documentary showcases the incredible rise of Dash in Venezuela amidst its economic crisis.
Recorded by Rodrigo Ambrissi of Dash Brazil, the video provides context for the situation with a quick historical recap of the past two regimes, the oil boom, and the following hyperinflation-driven economic crisis. Ambrissi then documents his trip to Venezuela, meeting with the various members of the Dash funded projects, as well as spending Dash just about everywhere. Surely you must noticed that Dash Nation for the most part does not care about price, and that our focus is on the long-term viability and adoption of Dash as a worldwide method of payment for years into the future. We realize that this is a marathon, not a sprint, and we have far better things to do than sit around and worry about a heavily manipulated price. Now, if you excuse me, I have real work to do...

As far as I know, most if not all coins that are male-dominated: developers and holders, behaved in the same way. Bitcoin fans also did it years ago. So it's just the sensibilities of the coin holders.

Who's brainwashed here?? Do you realize that Dash is the only coin in the top 20 that has completely lost all of it's gains year over year. All dash devs can say is " we don't care about price " so basically don't invest in Dash. It's not so great for the emerging markets using Dash the most under performing crypto. Venmo Exposes User Transaction History, Shows Need for Usable Private Cryptocurrency
Venmo was found to leak user transaction history by default, highlighting the need for private and user-controlled payment solutions.
Due in part to the social nature of the app’s design, payments platform Venmo was found to reveal entire transaction histories of users, including to those who were not Venmo users themselves. This setting was found to be enabled by default, meaning that a user would have to manually adjust privacy settings, both ongoing and for past transactions, in order to hide their history from being revealed. This may have resulted in sensitive financial data on millions of users becoming de facto public record.

Miracle Tele, A Mobile Service Operator, Integrates Dash
Miracle Tele is an upstart mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) that has recently incorporated Dash into their deposit and withdrawal system.
As background, MVNO means that they rent their network from other network providers and thus have very little infrastructure costs. So Miracle Tele plans to pass on those savings back to consumers by charging very low fees and distributing 40% of all profits back to token holders of the network. These TELE token holders will now be able to elect to withdraw their rewards in Dash.
