Have to ask 1 more time (as nobody ever replies to the)

regarding the enforcement
what does that mean for MN payments !

We are now on 0.6 DRK per day,
is that gonna go up then Huh
Tx

Hey brother,
I responded to you last time you asked...

Umm you're not gonna like this but that is what it would be if enforcement were true. I can feel the squeeze on supply. As the masternodes increase the supply is drying up.

It is actually less than the value you are looking at right now.

All I can say is the instant transaction feature is totally awesome. Today I finally updated my wallets and bam bam bam the unconfirmed was instantaneous then the confirmation came through shortly after. The Darkcoin is king of crypto. Why anyone would use anything else is beyond me. Once vendors adopt this technology the sky is the limit. Shipping can occur immediately and as I h
Uhm instant transaction system has not been built yet, developer will start working on it next week Smiley Darkcoin is already 4 times faster than Bitcoin though.
Guess that shows my limited knowledge but do know that it sure is fast. So then does that mean transactions will be just as fast as the unconfirmed?

http://www.forexminute.com/bitcoin/darkcoin-makes-quick-adjustments-kristovs-report-44595

ForexMinute.com – Darkcoin core developer EDUFFIELD, in consent with his team and community, had hired the renowned Bitcoin security and privacy expert Kristov Atlas to figure out the security lapses in Darksend. Last week, Kristov uploaded an exhaustive review of this anonymity-offering technology, whist bringing its voids to public.

It might be the first time in the history of cryptocurrencies when an altcoin has specifically conducted an open audit to figure out its security loopholes. Darkcoin, for most of us, is one such altcoin, which is offering transparency where it is much required, especially in times when even the most promising looking altcoins are failing in terms of security. EDUFFIELD not only made the Kristov’s repot public but also fixed most of the issues highlighted by the security expert.

My problem with these indicators as an amateur trader that it's way too easy to tweak the settings on altcoin market data between sane limits until they show what you wish to see. And then some completely random (might even forever unexplained or truely random) thing happens which has a way bigger effect than you would have prepared for by watching these indicators. Cheesy

This ain't about point scoring, this is trying to find some way to retain value when you can't use IPR or Patent laws.

A lot of truth right there. But it is starting to get the to the point where Evan has broken everyone's mold so many times it gets hard to forget.

On Monday, what will I need to do to update my masternodes from RC4 to RC5? Hopefully there is an easy trick, I don't feel like starting over all again.

Um, all the green bars represent a positive macd.
Not quite, they represent when the macd is greater than the signal.

Look at the 1d chart and zoom out and you can see what I mean. The macd is plotted with the y axis being the numerical macd value, and the bars being it's relationship to it's signal.

Which by definition is a positive MACD. Its your wording that is off in terms of what you are pointing out.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MACD

You don't need to quote what it is, I know what it is. The histogram is visual representation of the difference between the macd line (the difference between two moving averages) and the signal line (moving average of the macd). When the macd line is above the signal line, it's a positive macd. What you are referring to is above the 0 line. The usage of this indicator isn't in what the actual value is but rather when it is postive/negative and when there are divergences between the indicator and price itself.
The histogram refers to bullish/bearish - not positive or negative. They may be conflated quite often, but the fact remains.

Most of the time the distinction doesn't matter, because most of the time MACD is a short term indicator. On the 5 minute chart there are 3 or 4 zero line crossovers in the last week. But over a longer period, it is a much rarer event.

In the history of darkcoin - at least being traded on mintpal - this marks the second time it's ever crossed the 1d macd zero-line.

My point? I understand why you're quick to say "The usage of this indicator isn't in what the actual value is but rather when it is postive/negative" because among day traders this is pretty much true.

But in the context I posted - it is far from it - the actual value - and numerically positive versus negative - is the _only_ importance.

The 1d macd signal line just crossed the centre line (y-axis), which has not happened for a long time.

Long term positive trend reversal is here Smiley
First off, oblox is a TA king.
Second, you're all squabbling over a useless indicator. We're going to the August highs within a week here - positive MACD's, stochastics and moving averages will all follow.
That's all you need to know.
JL

About the only thing I'll use macd for is divergences but even then, I'd probably use RSI over it. I'd rather focus on price itself with trendlines, patterns, and volume profile than worry about indicators on the bottom (other than for confirmation).
