Dash Force News Free Talk Live Appearance (Post-PorcFest)

On Monday, Mark Mason and I had the distinct pleasure of appearing on Free Talk Live in studio in Keene, New Hampshire for the full three-hour duration of the show. Free Talk Live is a libertarian radio show with a long history in the cryptocurrency universe, including the great claim to fame of getting “Bitcoin Jesus” Roger Ver interested in Bitcoin, and was recently sponsored by Dash. I have been on Free Talk Live several times before, we have interviewed host Ian Freeman, and have had him on the 3 Amigos Podcast recently.

We covered a wide variety of topics on the show, mostly consisting of cryptocurrency and Dash-specific talk, but also extending to talk about regulations, political correctness, and the differences between Mark Mason’s native UK and the US. We also gave away Dash live on air.

Merchants of Crypto Interview: Human Action

This article is potentially the first in a new semi-regular series where Dash Force News interviews a merchant that accepts cryptocurrencies and Dash about their experience. In this article, DFN talked with the owners of Human Action, a libertarian and crypto apparel shop.

Members of the Dash Force News team first met the owners of Human Action, Josh Hoffman and Brendon McNamara, at Porcfest a week ago. Their merchant booth was situated diagonally across from the Dash booth and after staring at their booth and awesome products for a couple days, we decided to go over to meet them. They were great guys and were selling some really cool libertarian and crypto hats, pins, stickers, and other apparel items that stood out from traditional products. When DFN recently caught up with them, they discussed the goals of their company.

What a amazing positive news on DASH project and new partnership.
During the last month, I have seen dozens of good news on DASH project, including new partnerships and its internal changes.
The whole crypto market have almost found its bottom because Bitcoin will probably stop falling and bouncing back sooner or later this month.

Upcoming Dash Research Shows Network Can Easily Scale Near PayPal Levels

Upcoming research from Arizona State University (ASU) shows that the Dash network can scale on-chain to over half of PayPal’s current transaction levels with ease.

It might be a terrible scenario if DASH get flash crash like as of weeks ago because buy orders are verly low.
Honestly, I lost my money during the last flash crash of DASH, and don't want to witness such crash one more time.

Frame 48, A Creative Collective, Releases Documentary on how Dash Helps Zimbabweans

Frame 48, a “creative collective that specializes in film and commercial production”, has released a film entitled Starting From Scratch that explores how Dash is uniquely positioned to help solve the economic problems that individuals are facing in Zimbabwe.

Frame 48 mentions in their press release that Zimbabwe suffered its most recent hyperinflation attack in 2008 and has had to have its currency re-denominated three times before 2008. During each economic crises, Zimbabweans lost significant personal savings, despite their government’s attempts to save their currency’s value by pegging it to the USD. Frame 48 also discussed that currently EcoCash, provided by telecom company EcoNet, has become the primary daily transaction method with significant premiums paid for USD or other fiat currencies on the black market to purchase international goods.

Where did you read that ? Dash normal transactions are depending on proof of work confirmations, regardless of using GUI or commandline i think. Although i can imagine a transaction gets created faster through commandline then through GUI, but then it still needs to get confirmed.

There could be a difference in calculated transaction fee between GUI transaction and commandline transaction, i think i read that too somewhere.. cant remember where and if that is true indeed.

Dash is def getting hit the hardest, not sure why but it seems no body wants it. All other coins have been rising vs btc lately but not dash just keeps sinking??
