Any marketing should use 'currency' or 'ecash' not 'cryptocurrency.'
The Dogecoin team used 'digital currency' on their Nascar. That's a simple and fair description.

Agree. I don't think we should use 'eCash.' That's a thing from 1995. The eWhatever era is over and sounds dated.

Digital cash?

That's what I was thinking. It still says the same thing as 'eCash' without me thinking I have to dial in to AOL to use it.

Or 'DeCash'

just thinking out loud

bitcash ?

Sound idea, but I don't think it bridges the understanding gap to non-tech users.

Not sure if anyone noticed, but I'm giving the Darkcoin wallet a major overhaul and implementing a much more clean, modernized design with the help of Minotaur, raze and LittleFinger. Here's a screenshot of a mock-up, demonstrating the general idea of what the new wallet will look like:

(NOTE: This is just a mock-up, not the final design!)

A lot of major improvements and big things in the works for Darkcoin: the most under-valued crypto-currency on earth!  Wink

The official thread for the UI overhaul can be seen here at DarkcoinTalk.

Impressive work! I see all needed information that darkuser need to operate.
I just want to give a little suggestion about main blue colour. It will be nice if it is more dark blue. White letters will be more readable on darker background. Something like dark blue of the NXT beta wallet screen on first page in DarkcoinTalk wallet forum.

impressive work,
well done

edit: I had lots of half payments lately however, does your graph represent 100% compliant payouts or just non-zero ones, being 10 or 20%?

It represents block being paid, does not take under account if these are paid at 10% or 20%.

Oh my lordy, you sold your eCash, when you should have hodl your eCash
+1 for this wallet. The current design of pretty much every wallet is old.
This should be great.

After troll trolling, shojayxklt invented the parasite, just parasiting.
This thread is his home...
You don't want to parasitize other thread? Architectcoin for example? F.cking retarded.

Have you just invented a new rank in Crypto?

400 block pre-mine, fail launch yesterday, and Polo already added it  Huh  *facepalm*

Good coin will mine!

Why can't we stay closed source again?

I have servers around the world - is there any possibility to be a masternode without 1000 DRK?

Steam is interested in DarkCoins??  Shocked That would be a major thing.  Wink

You can run a masternode on any server with a fix IP without haveing 1000DRK on it.

However it has to be remotly backuped/started by a wallet that holds 1000DRK. The good thing is you can cold store it after your masternode is running.
The 1000DRK however have to stay in that wallet. If you move it out your masternode gets invalid/ inactive.
