This is what embarrasses me about half the Crypto community... DRK is still in very early days, this difficulty and price is absolutely nothing compared to what it will be when functionality is finished and the coin starts gathering pace...

It's not too late... You haven't missed anything... Start buying/mining DarkCoin right now and you will still do extremely well in the future...

So what if a bunch of people mined loads of DarkCoin when it was first incepted, good luck to them, they deserve to be rich... It's no different to initial shareholders in a company that went boom...

Just be glad you found out about DarkCoin now, rather than in 12 months time when it's all people are talking about... Then see how difficult it is to mine...

Well it will be interesting to see what happens when that goes back online but it shouldn't affect darkcoin too much other than the question of how much is in Mintpals hot wallet.

This is actually pretty right. A lot of altcoins were blamed including DRK, even BTC. Only because such people weren't there to mine it first.

Someone made a comment here a couple of months ago about the Private Banking sector being all over DarkCoin and DarkSend.  That IMO is one of the many applications for DarkCoin that will appeal to high net worth individuals that value privacy...

I'm not a front office trader nor do I have a Finance degree, however I've been working in the Investment Banking industry for 15 years and let me assure you, when that sector catches wind of DarkSend+ and we have a fully tested system of anonymity, the investment is going to come flooding in like a tidal wave...

It's Darwinian... We've had way more trolls to deal with so we got way better at it...

Hey everyone, I have no idea where to enter the conversation anymore, LOL.  I've been way too busy at home   and I'm a bit out of the loop 

So anyways, looks like the price is really low!  I have to figure out how to get money to buy more dark!  But I don't have any   

I guess we got a ways to go before RC4 and that means lower prices and trolls, eh?  But it also means it's a good time to buy if you can.  My mom asked me today how those "coins" are doing, and I said oh, in which aspect?  Development? or market wise?  Development is doing great!  Our developer has been refining the way things work, making things work better and simpler and he thinks he's got the anonymity solution completed.  But on the Marketplace side, there are so many scammers and uncouth people in this business, that it suffers.  You probably have 1/3 of the people who are true believers in crypto coins, and really wanting to get this to work, and another 1/3 that are just here to fudge things to make money as fast as possible. and a good 1/3 who are just scammers, trying to scam people night and day.  It's been very educating.  Though I think I understand human nature, it's still amazing to see it in action on this anonymous forum.

I've belonged to other forums for hobbies, and because we all get to know each other, and we trade with each other, our reputations are very important to us, so we act accordingly.  We are polite, when we trade, we don't scam for the most part by far.  And everything remains friendly.  This place brings out the ugly in people, it's sad, funny and enlightening all at the same time.

Anyway, we got to do something!  It's a long way to the prize at "the end of the month"!  I guess we might as well argue, LOL.

I think it wasn't so much shame as getting their damn attention. These people don't pay attention. You have to get in their faces, jump up and down, yell and scream, set off flares, etc... They're often deliberately out of touch/hard to get ahold of because they have so much lUser bullshit in their face all the time.

LAst I saw that compliance graph, it was actually creeping back UP towards 25% non-compliance as the defiant pricks willfully downgraded to old client versions...

I must bow with an apology to Evan and the DRK team. 'Shaming' the pool operators is actually working! I thought for sure that short term greed would be nearly impossible to overcome without a hard fork. I am so glad to be proven wrong! The mere threat of the Pimp Hand was enough. LOL
