For those that paid good amount of money/time, my advice is to sell as soon as possible. It will go down very hard this week. trying to do that with huge loses again).

Didn't expect action like this after your person....hyh....It's not just them. Many people have become disillusioned with Darkcoin. Many don't think RC4 will do anything for the price. In the end Darkcoin will still just be another altcoin claiming anonymity with no place to spend it. Besides, the anonymity fad has pretty much run its course. Most people don't need or require the level of anonymity Darkcoin claims. All anonymous coins are going down. The cryptonote coins have been taking a beating as well. Lots of people getting out and holding bitcoin. Many people just getting out of cryptocurrency altogether after getting burned by one of the many scams that are rampant.

Think we could try to get a wikipedia page again? I think it's possible this time, being that Darkcoin is the first truely decentralized eCash system to ever exist. They said it wasn't notable before... now it is.

Sad to see that DRK is going nowhere.
This is small games and speculation still, the real world use hasn't even started yet. That's where the big boys and big money are. Right now people who know what's coming have already secured as large position as they see fit, and don't have any worries. Those who think playing trading games with other small-time crypto speculants is all that will give the coin valuation are those who worry when there is no constant flurry of exciting news to speculate on. DRK is going places.

Sorry to hear you lost faith in the project. Also, sorry you're going to be getting out at a horrible time (right before I announce I have EVERYTHING figured out to make Darkcoin mainstream?).
Over the past couple of days, I've made huge leaps in the Darksend technology. In fact, RC4 will be the final solution to Darkcoin's anonymity. The client will automatically look at all of your funds and it will be able to tell which funds are not anonymized, if it finds non-anonymous outputs it will run them through a darksend with other clients. After that process, users can send without Darksend using the anonymous outputs for instant transactions without waiting for other nodes (with no upper limit on transaction sizes).
The other thing you're missing is that there is a reason I forked Bitcoin. Adoption for Darkcoin will be MUCH faster and easier for vendors, because all of the APIs are the same.
Expect more news in a few days. I have lots of work to do, but soon we can start testing all of this new functionality.

Then we have the fun part. The spending can start. A working anonymity model, with mainstream applications, now that's what I'm talking about.

Tired to read tons of the same comments. Same copy-paste comments than other coins. DRK doesn't have the magic any more. Even 0.097 is too high.
Take it or leave. Everybody need to be responsible of their actions. Privacy on BTC and LTC is coming. No need isolated coins anymore.
