Insurance companies will raise your premiums if you spend money on dangerous life pursuits. Thieves will know when you've booked a holiday and train and railway tickets. I feel that anonymity is vital to NXT to stay competitive, look at how darkcoin is rising.
I thought the developers were working on adding this feature to NXT anyway?
IDK, but i think we can do it better. And it only has to be optional for people to use, that way it gives people the freedom to choose.

Cheesy

You know you are doing something right when even NXT wants to stay competitive with you...

KryptoBonds, Bonds Industry now in Blockchain
the only real argument gmaxwell seem to have is that the darksend code is not opensource... Fine, it will be opensource soon.... So this is no problem anymore.... secondly i would suggest to think about the anonymitiy features.... that it is no good goal to reacht a 100% NSA proofed anonymitiy cause this would start an arm race... It is totaly enought to have some good anonymity for the everyday business... Look at the actual banks they won't tell me what is on your account ... but the will tell the NSA ... The same situatiuation schould be good enought for 99,9% of the use cases in the real world

FUD removed

Despite all that has happened DRK price still holding above ltc value. So the market thinks differently to you. It IS a great coin and after the next release will be an amazing coin.

DRK would have been a brilliant coin if dev would have made a proper release.
Even coingen "developers" can make a better launch than DRK dev did. No wonder that this coin has so many red flags above its head and the scam shadow will always haunt it.

Previous comments aside- I think based on how respected he is in the community having a core bitcoin dev give the nod of approval would essentially implant this coin as the #2 instantly.

However, I hope he is open and willing to provide an honest un-biased opinion based purely on the solution -  and not from a "bitcoin is the only solution" approach.

So Evan - we have secured you a reviewer - I trust your decision on who you think is best Smiley

gmaxwell, I think it would be great if you could spare some of your time to review Darkcoin's code once Evan has completed it.
I have no doubt that you would be able to provide valuable constructive feedback to Evan. Collaboration I see is the key to evolution and advancing ourselves in the crypto technology space - I am sure with both of your minds together something great could happen!
I will, if someone remembers to point me to it— ideally if it also comes with a high level design document so I don't have to extract all the behavior from the code (doing so is very time consuming).

That at least is positive. Good job.

Jesus... I'm outta this thread. Nothing more than fudders and deluded fanboys. All you read is either "to the moon" or "to the ground".

I'll see what RC3 brings.

I used to respect gmaxwell... What he wrote is pretty poor and doesnt look at all angles. In any case, this is a blessing in disguise. He spreads FUD for a reason, he fears us. We will take over from bitcoin.

Can we stop quoting over and over the FUD that comes around.

We have people with poor reading skills and poor intellect writing articles, we do not have to quote their dumbass "shit I missed the train on this one" articles

thanks

and with respect to bitcoin dev. If he doesn't see the advantage of masternodes, well.....I think he should really look for a different job. Maybe he can fetch coffee for evan

I want to see Mike3's reaction in two weeks. I expect he will change name before too long.
but he was right that the price will fall under 0,016 Wink
yeah, not sure how he did that. Maybe he is the master puppeteer. Lucky I don't play that game.

Hi, I just wanted to share the most precious graphic I ever got from an investment company in my professional investment career so far on the topic of "investment professionals" and how much their skills count versus "pure luck", compared to some sports (it was Legg Mason who used it in a presentation, I jokingly call it "the investment industries best kept secret"):

I actually appreciated mikemikemikes comments, only the level of certainty he expressed made me think of the graphic above.
Stay humble and open for every outcome is the best advice I can give.
