This. I wonder how long that's been there? It may be that they planned on listing DRK after it surge to #3 in market cap and subsequent media blitz, but following the recent crash, who knows if that's still the plan. But if this news gains enough traction, they might not have much choice but to go ahead with it even if they weren't planning on it.
I'm cautiously optimistic.
Developments like this usually spread pretty fast on the internet so I doubt it has been up for long and DRK is heading back towards #3 spot as we speak.
If bitfinex is professionally run site I don't think they put that up and mention the coin by name if something wasn't in the works.
Being cautiously optimistic is fine, but I am not sure if it is warranted in this case.

Yep. A lot of assumptions being made here. While this is an exciting prospect if DRK does go live on Bitfinex, we don't have actual confirmation right now. I would hate to see everyone treat this as a done deal only to have Bitfinex say "oh, we were just testing the possibility of a third coin but haven't decided which one" or something like that.
Good point Kyune. Let's hope it is the real deal. We need something to brighten spirits.

i checked Bitfinex daily volume, its greater than btc-e 
BTC-E volume has apparently declined over last 4 months. They have not shown any inclination to add DRK whatsover, their regulars are major litecoin supporters and the btce trollbox hates Darkcoin more than any coin in the world. If you check trollbox archives for last 2 weeks, there has been a lot of negative feedback for DRK.

Mac Wallet working again...
Couple of things for OSX users.
Library is not visible by default with OSX. Look up various ways to make library visible.
For me, once I was able to find my library, application support, dark coin.... I deleted everything but wallet.dat. I also deleted dark coin qt in applications. Then, I downloaded fresh and found a peers.dat file on another forum. Before I opened I added the new peers.dat.
Finally back to normal.
Couple of things for OSX users.
Library is not visible by default with OSX. Look up various ways to make library visible.
For me, once I was able to find my library, application support, dark coin.... I deleted everything but wallet.dat. I also deleted dark coin qt in applications. Then, I downloaded fresh and found a peers.dat file on another forum. Before I opened I added the new peers.dat.
Finally back to normal.

Just stocked up some moarr....
I think folks don't realize what this means besides trading. The #1 requirement for darkmarkets to accept any crypto currency is to be able to exchange things to fiat on demand. That has kept pretty much everything besides BTC and LTC away from darknet markets.
I don't normally use the crypto lingos, but prepare for liftoff.
