Massive pump incoming back to 0.02 and then consolidation of buy support for launch back to 0.025 when dev announces all has been fixed. Increased my total darkcoin by 12% with all the panic, cheers lads!

Same if you dont buy now - you will be sorry.

Is that what it says now?  Then no, you're on a bad fork.  Should be over 75200, but currently the explorer is offline.  Maybe we just need to sit tight until it's all fixed Smiley

Yah, I just finished syncing and I'm also on 75315

LOL, gosh the thread goes so much faster when all the trolls are silenced  Cheesy

One thing I want to point out again, not sure why because I know the trolls know this already, but the only part of the wallet that is closed source, is that which belongs to DarkSend.  You don't have to use a wallet with DarkSend inside of it.  You can compile the source yourself and use the regular wallet version sans Darksend.

It is your choice, if you want to run the experimental software that is closed source or use only the open source version and compile yourself.  It's always been that way.

so what if it could be more primitive, still more anon then DRK.... can already see DRK being dumped so people can jump on the XC bandwagon.... wouldnt suprise me if XC starts to rival drk for its current position in the comming weeks, plus XC wasnt "instamined"

PoW/PoS hybrids are instamined by definition where the bulk of the monetary base is given out in a few days and late miners cannot mine it. But that's not bad, it's a plus to curb inflation. And it's good they are capping now.

Question for trolls: How much is the rate? Are you getting paid per post, per hour, per day? How does it work?

premine is still alot better then haveing 40% of total coin cap being in the hands of a few select people..... and i believe the anon feature is already implemented into the wallet as there was user testing of it last night, feel free to check this and you will see what i mean.

Now, maybe this is when we find out the closed source client has a backdoor... heh.

You're all nuts for using something like this that hasn't been peer-reviewed, IMO.

Be interesting to see what happens to DRK when people clue in that Monero is more secure and anonymous.

Thats why i wouldnt be prepared to invest any $$$ in something that is closed source.

Pretty foolish if you ask me. Its pretty easy to see that this coin has been engineered to drive the price up, 1000 DRK for a master node and if 1000 people rush in to buy enough DRK for a master node and you have already taken around a quarter of the current supply of DRK out of circulation. Meanwhile the developer(s) can cash out with darksend presumably before the whole thing falls over.

There is no need to start a DRK vs MRO debate.  They both have pros and cons.

Buy some DRK if you want but dont bet your house on it. Mandatory hard fork tomorrow to remove masternode payments, we have a long way to go before there is resolution, not to mention darksend and new feature delays for weeks or even months.

Actually the mandatory hard fork happened 4 hours ago.  He changed it almost immediately to NOW!

I see. It's so difficult to keep on top of things. My wallet seems to show blocks well ahead of the explorer though.
same here, http://explorer.darkcoin.io/chain/DarkCoin seems to stuck under maintenance

same affect with XC, still more anon then DRK......
First, learn the difference between affect and effect. Second, what are you smoking? XC is in an even more primitive state than any of the Cryptonote coins, which are also pitiful.

You're right, it was premined, which is even worse. The XC dev has yet to release a white paper, and has only given very basic descriptions of how he will be implementing anonymity. Also it uses POS which is inherently flawed.
