My 2cents is that Evan should just post all news, updates and what to do to his twitter, we can copy past them to here and other places.
Sometimes you have to wait for facts to exist before you can publish them.

Still, would like some news...

I agree, Im just talking about when stuff ups happen. During this one he was posting here and on darkcointalk back and forth. Could save a little time by posting in one place, twitter.

It would not surprise me if BADASS, camosoul and turturro are the largest holders of darkcoin.

BADASS = Spoetnik. One of the known troll fegs of darkcoin.

Don't try to look tough Dollface
The developers need to treat this as a MAJOR coin and employ professional level communication and management with the community helping the process. If you are not going to treat your own coin with respect, no one else will.

The Developer, singular, has been pushed very hard and very fast into a position he was never planning to be in. The community has pushed him to treat very early beta software as if it's production level.

I'm surprised he's still putting up with it. He's a victim of his own success, too much, too fast.

Find a coin with a team of developers that does even 1/10th the work he has done. I DARE you.

The man is stressed, and even had to come back to this crap on Memorial Day Weekend.

If telling it like it is makes me a member of the "cult of evan" then so be it. Ask the BitCoin Foundation to get anything accomplished... Go ahead. They're a bureaucracy of petty bullshit and shady characters no different than the government printing inflated fiat...

This is quite funny as camosoul has been adding to Evan's stress via useless comments!

I'm quite sure that Evan has more important things to do than sit around and read useless comments.

Is it me or it says no block source available when I open my wallet ?
no its just not you I got to 4 weeks then it changes to block source available how do I fix it
Not difficult. Update to latest wallet.  Delete blocks and chainstate (BUT NOT WALLET.DAT) and restart your engines.

As an investor, I'm just not comfortable adding to my holdings until I see that it is fixed and like issues won't crop up again.  I MAY liquidate a little of my holdings to reduce risk, but need to sleep on that one.  I still believe in Evan and thus DRK, but this was certainly a major setback today.  Those who plan to utilize DRK in the future need to be able to trust in the network.  If I'm not comfortable with it, then they certainly won't be.
Don't agree with this because misbehaving MNs can be banned.  Just like in bitcoin, misbehaving peers can be banned.
If it's an easy fix, that's great.  I simply want to see it in action and have a stable network for awhile before I bring additional cash from the sidelines.
Great, turn your cash to Btc and wait on the sidelines. Smiley

Agreed.  When you have this sort of marketcap, I want to see the little issues cleaned up before major additions continue.  For example, there should be an extremely streamlined process where, when a new wallet is released, EVERYTHING is updated properly within minutes.  The front post of this thread, the website, etc.  The official website should never have mislabeled versions.
As a coin developer myself, I'm ok with small errors.  I consider Darkcoin a major coin when it overtakes litecoin.
