I am actually still invested in Darkcoin and I have made quite a bit out of it, but I am not delusional thinking that it will overtake Bitcoin.

What, you think Ebay or Amazon, or any other significant retailer will accept Darkcoin?? You think your local pizza shop/mom&pop store will accept Darkcoin???

They will accept Bitcoin and Litecoin, but I promise you they will not be touching Darkcoin with a 10ft pole.

I never dismissed it. I never ragged against the coin or the dev or anything in its fundamentals. I just told 1 guy who was asking if he should buy more to be careful. That is what started all this and made people angry.

You can call this the internet or google or whatever and I will not argue with you. That is a different battle.

Anyway I don't see the whole point here to argue on price, especially between old-timers. We are all speculating while millions of dollars are being moved around. Is it a pump? Is it big investors? Is it gonna rise? Is it gonna fall? Who the fuck knows except those with the $$$... Fundamentals are fundamentals but price and fundamentals tend to have time lag issues in most markets.

We went back to 170 2 more times now after that dump.
And now we are even over the high of that pump. Yea we can totally compare it to blackcoin..

Do you see Litecoin crash in a day from 10 to 5$? No... Darkcoin has gone out of the shadows. It is now at a spot where it won't just all of sudden gets dumped and lose half its value.

But did that happen on its own or was it due to 200+ btc buy walls driving it up? Lets admit it was due to that and not due to "fundamentals" which DRK definitely has.

I still say, its under valued for the potential it could bring.

VCs would put in something now to give the current project a $100m valuation if they thought their share would be worth a proportion of a $1bn in 3 years time. That's how they work. Invest now, work hard, sell for x times more in 3 to 5 years.

Could darkcoin be worth over $1bn in 3 years time, recognizing that it could fail in that time, but if it does what it set out to do? If yes, then we are under valued at $50m.

Yes, the traders are buying at 17 and selling at 19, rinse and repeat. That does account for a good portion of the volume. But there have to be people actually buying at 19 in order for that to happen. Traders would be treading water and gaining nothing by buying from themselves at 17 and selling to themselves at 19. The people buying at 19 (and allowing the traders to cash out) are the ones bringing new money in.

If no new money is entering, then all the traders are just trading among themselves, and DRK and BTC are being redistributed among them, but no overall price movement should occur.

I never claimed that the entirety of the volume corresponds directly to the amount of money being put in. Just that the volume combined with the price increase indicates that SOME new money is being put in.
