Can anybody answer me? i am asking again as nobody answered. Why does the title say first anonymous coin?? bytecoin was released in 2012 so that means dark is not the first

Releasing a coin on the darknet and mining it for 2 years where a few people know about it hardly counts...

It most definatly counts. It is the true definition of anonymous and at this point the most anonymous anyone can get.

So perhaps we should asterisk our title and say we were the first anonymous coin that wasn't mined extensively by small groups of people in the know for two years time. That could work, I guess.

You could argue that there were issues with Dark's launch, but at the same time, it was at least public to a pretty wide userbase, let alone continues to be referenced in the how the coin started thread on the official forums.

Even bitcoin wasnt much known than a small group in early days but it doesnt mean litecoin will say its the first crypto currency

Should stop referring to finite units of this coin as Satoshis... They're Duffs now.

Don't take this as anything other than genuine curiosity, but are you actually of the opinion that that DRK is going to rival Bitcoin ?

Yes, and yes, they are Duffs now  Cheesy  Grin  Cheesy

and no, just because I'm giggling doesn't mean I'm not serious!  It is what I actually think, LOL

Anyone know of which AMD based motherboard has 6 pcie slots?  There is the asrock BTC h81 pro but that is Intel based.  Hoping to find the closest AMD equivalent.

Boy, someone REALLY doesn't want a new high on the day yet.  I just threw a LOT of BTC at 140 and they all got soaked up.

You should wait 20 hours more  Cool
Oh, I've been buying for months now.  I'm not interested in timing DRK short term as it won't matter in the medium to long term.

But thank you.

I'm of the opinion that DRK is augmented enough beyond BTC that it's units should be called Duffs, not Satoshis. There is nothing further to be inferred from my statement. It says what it says.

Yes, I can answer.  Because nobody knew of Bytcoin's existence until March, when they came out of the woodwork.  For 2 years, they were a small group of people mining bytcoin, now they let us know they exist?  I dont' know, maybe they didn't want anything to do with Bitcointalk, I can understand that, but the #1 thing a coin needs is users.  Without users and a good distribution of coins, you have nothing.

Should Darkcoin change the title?

I don't think so.  We were the first known coin to offer such a thing.  And certainly the first usable coin, as Bytcoin still has no GUI, only people comfortable using Linux and the command line can use their wallet.

It's going to be very difficult for them to catch up.  They made some really bad decisions it seems.

Minds are like parachutes they work best when open
Just a thought, if you hold 1000's of DRK in an exchange whats stopping the exchange from masternoding, even on a shortterm basis?

I imagine nothing.

But that would be no different from a bank deploying your cash somewhere else while you're not using it.

Actually, that's a good point. The exchanges could rake it in using this approach. Maybe that's half the plan  Shocked

If they were to do that tbh I would have no objections
