Kaspa
I watched the launch of dark and was even more of a noob than I am now and was intimidated about figuring out a new miner/algorithm, so I put off learning. was finally convinced to start buying a few when I can a lil while ago, and watching the price bounce lately and following the news really has me wanting to learn now.

I'm running a 6950, and have been used to running the scrypt cgminer, the drk miner looks similar and the command line that the "official pool" looks like it can't be too hard to get working, but I can't for the life of me figure out... I end up with the miner mining at a really high rate and no actual work out???

any help would be greatly appreciated Smiley

Darksend module coding process is very important. Should ensure that stable.

If you place these two things, DRK is dies.

- If comes a new suspension after May 25th
- If people continue lose coins due to unstable codes or irresponsibility.

Note: Logo is acceptable quality. However, developers need to invest a little more for the official website and forums. Identity is important.

Did I miss something?

Doubtful. Most likely in regards to ongoing issues with syncing and/or sending coins but not updating the wallet first.

Except that no one is keeping anyone in the dark as the info is a sticky on the darkcointalk forums.

The dev himself explains what happened: https://darkcointalk.org/threads/the-birth-of-darkcoin.162

The guy spends 99% of his time on the Cinni coin thread and just now, tonight wants to enlighten us with some negative "informations" about Darkcoin.  Roll Eyes

honestly i only did because one of your members just did the same on cinni thread, so i was returning the favor, else i wouldnt.

peteycamey is a troll even here, don't try to emulate him, you are only hurting your coin.

This is the "I don't know shit about these coins but I will write about them like I am the godfather of all cryptocoins" kind of "research".
They are unable to count to 11 (you know, DarkCoin's algorithm is labeled as X11 for a reason and they listed less than 11 algorithms) and they think it offers PoS which is false. May be these wouldn't be that big of a deal (may be the PoS, the number the algos doesn't really matter) but how could I believe in their professionalism after recognizing these obvious errors?

this coin was mentioned in an article about bad investment coins.

there is research about almost every coin. very useful.

http://www.devtome.com/doku.php?id=a_massive_investigation_of_instamines_and_fastmines_for_the_top_alt_coins#darkcoin

bad news is : they mention it as extreme caution bad idea for investment and that It's safe to say Darkcoin has left it's investors in the dark on this one.
