This makes no sense to people with a brain, the underlying value is the same, if Evan didn't announce a delay this wouldn't have happened. People are just taking advantage of some slightly disappointing piece of news to try an create a panic psychology, including you. Its ok, Warren Buffet advices to forget about sudden market trends if the underlying value of your investment is there and your reasoning is right. Best of luck to everybody trying to sell to buy cheaper and if you are selling because you are afraid we are better off without you anyway.

He gave most of them away.  CHAOSiTEC, whom I also miss terribly, has only 2% of what he mined.  He gave away over 18,000 coins.  All because they believed in the coin AND because they KNEW an isolated coin, that was in the hands of a few has no VALUE!  It's called enlightened self interest.  So unless you believe big coin holders from the "instamine" want to hurt themselves, or the coin, you couldn't believe they still had all that coin.  And it seems, from people studying the blockchain, that nobody held on to the early coins like that.  And I believe that most of the large wallet holders have been identified as exchanges, even which exchange.

I haven`t read every post of "ymer", but I like to read bearish opinions as well. You, ymer, could just add a little bit of deeper information to your thoughts. When you said 0,006 did not make sense, you did not know about the delay. So now 0,0047 makes no sense either. Fine, but why?
I`m curious to hear solid fundamental arguments.
(If other people are 100% sure he is just trolling, forgive me feeding him)

They called me troll for saying that I would buy after it made sense. Right now it's @ 0.0047 and I still think it's high.

Watch out who you listen to in these boards guys.

Because if you watched the market, the block chain, and have followed what's happened since last January you would know that most if not all those coins have since been given away, sold off, etc... and in my opinion, has made for a far better distribution of coins than mining alone ever could have.  It kept the price low for many months, IMO, allowing for people without much hash power and non miners to be able to buy coin.  I bought almost half of what I have, because the price remained low enough even for someone like myself, out of work for 10 years, and living on a shoe string budget.  I bought over a long period of time, often, heck, each time at the high of that week.  Yet I feel I have done super well.  So even I could put together a couple of masternodes!  Just never go out to eat, I still desperately need a pair of tennis shoes, Mom bought me a hair cut.  Just forgo all those usual things, and I could gather a hundred bucks here and there, over a long period of time and still buy under 2 bucks a coin.  If miners were in control and there were no cheap coins, I never would have had that opportunity.

And the instamine was not on purpose, it was a fu*kup.  An honest mistake of exuberance and sending it to market before vetting it.  Evan was excited, was sure he had it all figured out and wanted to launch it to see what happened.  It's that same exuberance that makes him such a fantastic developer.

And I'm afraid we pushed him away, as he hardly shows up anymore  He's afraid to tell us anything he is thinking anymore because it kept getting him in trouble  I'm sad about that

Yeah, I`d done that as well, I just did not think the delay was enough to cause such a crash.

I smell the panic. 

I believe most people who sell immediately after delay news are just gambling it up knowing there are others who will also gamble and sell, they just hope they get to sell first and buy from the the one who gets to sell last. 

True, but that has the same cleansing effect anyway, because somebody that is selling to buy lower is a drk supporter too. And they wont sell when the realease date comes either.

Is darkcoin.io down? I tried to download latest darkcoin-qt but the homepage and the link to the executable are unreachable. I can't even ping or traceroute the address.

BTW, is there any mirror for the wallet software?
