thanks but that is pretty vague.. it seems like a take the dev's word for it sort of thing..
as in did the dev on this or other coins simply make a mistake or did they do something on purpose.. there is no way to know.

What is the status on GPU mining of this coin? Anybody tried either working on GPU miner or at least examined the feasibility of creating one?

It is Darkcoin rightful place. LTC became ASIC b!tch and its going down .
LTC is still a functional coin... What makes it unusable? Pretty sure there are a bunch of ASICs hashing BTC...
Miners live in their own cryptobubble... just because they can't mine a coin as well "it's dead"... lol. We all know that BTC *really* died when ASICs came onboard, lol.
Then again, LTC "sold" itself as the solution to the |ASIC problem" and failed. So, in a sense, it fails to deliver on it's core promise.
DRK, on the other hand, makes no promise for long-term ASIC resistance (as litecoin devs admitted, anything GPU mineable is ASIC-able) neither is ASIC immunity its main selling point.

Someone is working hard to keep the price below 0.00385 on Cryptsy. They've been at it for the last 2 hours.
No, somebody is working on it to stop the fall before it hits my buy order.
While I believe that this coin has the most promising future of all altcoins, I also believe that this was a simple pump and the price will fall below 0.003 (not below ~0.0025 though, 0.0013 is history, I think) like with the rest of the pumped coins. It's no different. Not yet.
Just take a look, even the mighty BTC felt back eventually and LTC followed it (not that I personally ever saw any future for LTC and I completely wrote if off after GridSeed came, but some did).
Well, I get the feeling it will go to .02 before it floats there a while.
But it's just a feeling???
It's been a long time coming, yet I think it's freaky going up all of a sudden. Kind of like a pressure release, then pull back because it's gone up so fast.

Just wondering if anyone who has played the game (30 odd of you by the looks of the count ) can help
I've been following How to set up ec2 t1.micro Ubuntu for Masternode part 1/3
I just can't seem to start the masternode service as the last step.
darkcoind masternode start mypassphrase
getting the error:
error: {"code":-1,"message":"Your wallet is locked, passphrase is required\n"}
I'm assuming passphrase is the wallet passphrase and i have check that i have it right.
Thanks in advance !
