Im official the worst day trader haha.  Lost 4 DRK trying to sell and buy back.

4 DRK? I'm at a couple thousand lost right now. Think I will never trade DRK again, I have nothing but terrible luck with it. This market just doesn't make any sense to me and seems to operate against all logic.

No news - price doubles. RC2 testing - price drops 30%. I'll just hold what I have left and forget trying to make more from trading it.

edit : market aside DRK is a great coin and really the only one I care to deal with long term, but F day trading it.

I almost started to worry I won't be able to buy back cheaper after my sellout yesterday.
Somehow a relatively quick 200% profit just wouldn't cut it for me in this case. I want to hold a masternode worth of DRK regardless off the daily price.

Will the Draksend feature become open source?

Yes.

Wish it wouldn't..

I do believe in open source.. but for this.. not so sure. Sick of clones of clones of clones. And would hate to see that happen to DRK.

Ultimately open source is the only way to be sure it's secure. As already said, clones will struggle to compete with an established DarkSend network.

Will the Draksend feature become open source?

Yes.

That to me is a slight concern.
Here is why. darkcoin is one of the few coins that has something beneficial and different. Clones are sure to appear.
If Darkcoin is to have a market cap in the tens of billions or even hundreds of billions, as it becomes more widespread, then it needs to get the marketing right IMHO.

Otherwise someone will come out with a clone called "goodcoin"...and I think that the wider community is far more likely to go with something like that than Darkcoin.
I belive at some stage if the coin wants to fulfill it's potential the name will have to change.
Just my 2 cents

Evan is one of the best devs of the cryto scene (now working on test-net improving DarkCoin BTW). I said a few pages back that he is not open source Wink

I don't care about clones, the soul of the currency, the guy who can improve, fix and add new features work here. Let others copy us, this will give more glory to Darkcoin

Plus Darksend relies on the robustness of the masternode network, that is not something you can copy overnight. And we are investing on the creative genius of the dev who will continue to come up with features just like X11, DGW3, Darksend..and there will be more... Competition is healthy and they will always be playing catch up.

New Darkcoin themed - darkproxy.net is now up and running.

Anyone using this type of web based proxies should also have an interest in a privacy-centric crypto-currency such as Darkcoin.  Cool

http://www.darkproxy.net

https://ssl.darkproxy.net

The http homepage is currently serving a single on-click pop-under ad per. browser session for darkcoin.io

Most privacy and security users here will want to browse via the SSL website, as the http homepage is accelerated by cloudflare and has caching enabled, whereas the SSL site does not use any caching whatsoever.

Any (accessible) websites that won't load may work if you allow Scripts and/or Objects, although this can break your anonymity. bitcointalk.org is actually one good example of a site that won't display properly without scripts. Most youtube videos are working with a new plugin, however for some reason youtube won't proxify fully over SSL - so if your using youtube the http and cloudflare version of the website is really the best option.

...

Also, working towards launching a 'darknet' service for pseudonymous Darkcoin mining either via a VPN / encrypted tunnel and/or Tor (most likely using the one hop circuit option). A darkcoin.conf will also be available for download including .onion Darkcoin nodes for easily connecting your Darkcoin wallet over Tor.

...

darkproxy.net will serve as good promotion for Darkcoin and will be continually submitted to over several 100 proxy listing websites over the coming days / weeks / months.

Great, full-on panic selling. Really makes my day  Roll Eyes

Looks like low volume. Less than 10k per 15 minute interval. Compare that with other pumps and dumps and it seems small in comparison.

That is just something we're going to have to deal with.  Staying closed source is not an option really. Luckily we have history on our side - none of the litecoin clones have eclipsed litecoin, none of the quark clones have eclipsed quark etc.

I think we should wait until we get on btc-e or something major to have that advantage.

Good work using bold and blue colors to pull attention to yourself. With that said, I have <1% confidence in anyone's chart reading abilities. Chart analysis is pretty meaningless.
But wasn't that ABC corrective structure good in the last 24 hours or so. Smiley
