I sold some, and buy some. Buy low sell high.. Whats wrong with that? It was a 389DRK sell from a buy at a lower price.

Well, this helps clarify things and I feel a bit better. You might want to post something like that as a reply to the original tweet (if you don't remove it outright).  In the future just be careful what you post to twitter on the official account - you are speaking as an official representative of darkcoin, and your words can have large impacts on the market and peoples perception of the coin.
I agree, im an idiot! I get pissed off and dont think straight and just want to bash some heads and just happed to have the Official Twitter open. DUH!

I have removed the tweets, buts its too late. I will vent ONLY on my personal account.

Sorry everyone.

But I still would recommend everyone refrain from using Cryptsy, somehow they are allowing you to sell more than you have. And if someone figures out how they can manipulate it they can take a BUNCH of coins from them and then everyone is screwed.

Here was my transaction:
Balance: 361.24682153

2014-04-22 19:57:09   Trade (Sell)   -389.73542967   -28.48860814

So I sold 389 but I only had 361.

Imagine if it was BTC!!!

And while I was in chat there were multiple people there with same problem with alot of other coins, so its not a DRK problem.

I've never had any problems with their support. Didn't you contact them?

'How to create a masternode?

- Get a machine with a static ip
- Setup some ddos protection
- Setup firewall rules to block any ports that are not needed
- Open port 9999
- Download the beta daemon of darkcoin
- Use ./darkcoind getaccountaddress 0 to get an address on that daemon
- Send EXACTLY 1000DRK to that daemon
- Encrypt the wallet with a strong password, make a backup of the wallet, do not copy the wallet while the daemon is running
- In the darkcoin.conf add "connect=23.23.186.131" and "masternode=1"
- Restart the daemon
- In the logs you should see this if successful:

2014-04-07 18:37:18 IS DARKSEND MASTER NODE
2014-04-07 18:37:22 AddLocal(23.23.186.131:19999,4)

my drk address Wink

Static IP, there's the rub... I'm curious if a tor hidden service address could substitute... Behind tor and also dynamic IP becomes a static address.

We are working to make the following wallets and would like to know if there is interest in buying these.
We see others are selling them for anywhere between $5 and $12. I'm thinking about $3 - $5. The back of the card where the grey area is, is the scratch off where the private key and QR code would be.

i would definatly buy some

Thanks for bringing this back up. Count me in as well.

Panic buying is in full effect. Remember the big BTC buy walls you are selling to, they will come back and manipulate the price. Don't complain then.

Is the official pool getting overloaded or getting DDOS'd?
My miners keep getting connection failed errors with it.

This

I'm still not sure this Internet Ape gets it. Do you want people to buy Darkcoin? Where should they do it? Don't you think trust in exchanges is already fragile? Do you want to undermine that, while you talk about dumping the coin you are promoting all from the official account? What an idiot.

Chill out you guys, he did some day trading on 389 DRK - so fucking what?  Nobody cares.

Actually, I care. Pretty stupid IMO. Makes it look like the developers don't even believe in their own product, how inspiring.

Ok so I will not be using Cryptsy.com any more.

They are saying I sold more than I had, how the hell can I do that? SO I have to buy back the drk that I over sold. Which is now 2x what I sold it for.

And I have been watching chat and its happening to ALOT of people.

I think they have the problem with THEIR system and they should cover it!

Remove the tweet... looks really unprofessional.

+1

I don't care if you had problems on Cryptsy or not, the bigger problem is talking about selling Darkcoin from the official twitter account. It's like 'here we are, promoting Darkcoin on twitter... HOLY SHIT THE PRICE WENT UP I'M SELLING THIS STUFF'

Are you asking him to be dishonest?

He is a dev advertising on the official twitter that he is selling DRK.  This is literally one of the most moronic things I have ever seen anyone do.

Nobody complained when you bought at 0.0012x two weeks ago: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.6163778

...so I think the issue is more of a communication thing. Wrong image projected outwards if someone appears to be selling their own coin or something. But it's not like DRK is a country coin where the premine coins are being moved for selloff, so... anyone can do what they want with their coins. Just be careful with things that might affect the market.
