So I guess now is the time to try and get as much press as we can?! I KNOW we have all had a hard time not shouting from the hilltops about DarkCoin and DarkSend until it was ready, so we should have a lot of excited people ready to spread the word.
Side note: The front page of this thread hasn't been updated to add the RC1 release on the "DarkSend Progress Reports:" section.

11 of them, plus an old 6870. Taken about 3 weeks, with a wee bit of trading and rig rental thrown in.

Yeah there was link to some sort of gambling website. When people put in their info they were never able to login to it, but the site was collecting the info and whoever runs it checked to see if the creds matched the user's cyrptsy creds. Some people's did.

Yep..I saw that scam site. I started to put info in..thankfully I didn't use my same password. I became suspicious when it would not accept any password no matter how long and complicated I made it.I notified cryptsy...but they did nothing about the guy promoting the scam site.
it was called something like predictcoin

Good work, but please next time let someone proofread for minor errors. I think it's important we stay as professional as possible and set DarkCoin apart from other coins. I'm a librarian married to an english professor whose mother is a technical writer, I'll happily volunteer to proofread for you (and will get their help!).
I'm not trying to be a dick, it's a fine release and I appreciate the work Mannie (it was his work, yes?) put into it. Peer review can be good though
.edit: Do you have links for the various places it was distributed yet? I don't know how long they take to propagate around the web so maybe they aren't out there yet.

And the vast majority of GPU miners still don't have a clue. I can't imagine what will happen if DRK get indexed anywhere in China...
I do so much prefer the logo on Darkcoin.io ... its is lightyears better and more serious looking (I know I know... I just had too)
