Thank you. If I can see any solution that will work within your design, as it is explained more, then I will share.

No rush. Private message me to come back if you post something I need to see.

It will be blissful if he refuses to address my question about the security flaw in his coin, as described in his summary.

Then it means you get to find out later and lose a lot of money, time, and effort. Perfect.

The "cover my eyes and pretend no problems exist" makes this look more and more like the monkey coin.

We are looking into responding to your questions, and we actually appreciate your input, as this will only server to make Darkcoin better and make people trust it even  more.

I hope that Eduffield doesn't waste any more time trying to appease this troll Anonymint. His time is better spent continuing the work on finishing Darksend. This Anonymint guy is the equivalent of a Red-Herring for Eduffield's time.

Anonymint is doing us a service by offering his criticism. Don't be dismissive.

Whatever you do Eduff, don't release any sourcecode to this guy to try to shut him up. Just keep doing what your doing and make this ship sail. When it's launched this Anonymint guy can waste his own time on trying to prove his arguments.

SlyA -- You need to relax a little man. I agree with you, but that dude who said this shouldn't be a "to the moon" circle-jerk is right. That kind of empty cult-like rhetoric is for suckers and the blind. We have to keep realistic and professional. Not that we aren't already--but it's sober thought that leads to progress. Mob mentality goes nowhere. Look at dogecoin, it's entire community is overflowing with that kind of drunken illogical support. It's pulled in a lot of supporters for sure, but the coin is a giant fascade. It's a generic scrypt coin with no coin cap and a dog-meme. When the novelty wears off it will drop like a rock. Darkcoin is different because it has some IQ behind it. It has a unique feature that is of actual benefit. But that feature needs to be defended against those who attack it (like Anonymint), and such defense is best performed with cool smooth logic (like Eduffield's responses). If we were to dismiss attacks on the coin by raving about "to the moon" we'd discredit ourselves.

You are completely right. The tongue lashing was unnecessary. Apologies to the blokes that I attacked.

Give it a rest mate. Announce your coin and stop with the diversionary tactics.

I just noticed that there's a problem with the BETA executables I just released. I'm working on new ones, will release soon.

If you downloaded the beta, just go back to using the stable client for the moment.

It is probably possible to discuss in terms of flow-charts, no need to see the actual code.

I would welcome criticism of the coin's code. Better that these things get resolved now, than a year down the line.

Meanwhile awaiting a technical reply from the developer. Putting SlyA's political rampage on ignore.

So basically you want the developer to show you the code which is currently closed source to satisfy your assumptions? Your delusions are more grandiose than I thought.

AnonyMint's criticisms sound reasonable to me, I'd be interested to hear another rebuttal from Eduffield.  I'd like to understand as much as I can about the level of anonymity Darkcoin provides (and will potentially provide).
