Why was the coin changed from being scarce to more common? I'd prefer the old cap of around 10 million. What does the new cap do, other than limit the potential value of our coins? As it stands, it makes more sense to dump these coins once they get a little more hype. I really hate when devs pull this sort of shit. Bought my coins a few weeks ago , expecting to be part of a relatively rare coin, now they become 5x + more common? Great way to reward the people who believed in you, dev. Not all of us have the space to mine so this change is a big fuck you to all the non miners investing in Dark.
I know that I'll still profit, but with this dilution, I guess I'll have to start day trading. Dump after a big rise, buy back later once it drops.

Total market cap was initially 84M as it is now. At some point a yearly reward halving mechanism was introduced, reducing the effective market cap (but would have no effect on year 1). Not sure on the reasons for this, you'd have to ask the dev. This change was reversed soon after. In practical terms, these changes have little to no effect considering we're still at the very beginning of the mining life cycle. Talk of dilution is misplaced -- these coins are not being added or removed from the current market. They don't exist and won't for years. That said, I expect the initial total cap of 84M will remain constant from here.

You have nothing to worry about. Just watch how slowly the total supply changes. There has been like a couple of 100,000's new coins since the last month. It's a healthy, scarce, growth. DRK Is the best coin i seen so far in last 2 years !!! I used to mine LTC in last year and half and thought of that as something normal...
When i switched to mine DRK it made my day
Cards are cold, power cables are cold, i hear the silence 
mining rigs work like a charm without glitches...
I don't want to go back to Scrypt anymore and ill be very happy if everything goes right so ill not be forced to switch to any scrypt coin
Also i think DRK will be the summer coin !!!

This coin will take around 70 years to mine. The initial spec said 84 million coins and we will reach previous max around 2018 or more. It will still be scarce for a long time to come.

Manage to MINE 11 DRK again but NET HASH is 7.7GH/s and Reward reduced 21 DRK per block.

Certainly WAY undervalued at this point. When the market catches up, this will get interesting.
Vert is 2x as much and still lagging a bit behind in development (and I own vert myself).

I tried to download standalone miner and get a error of a malicious file?
That's pretty normal, but you can run malwarebytes, and it'll either call it a Trojan if it's bad, or a PUP (potentially unwanted program) if it's good

Do you guys think DRK could reach AUR's market cap soon? By my calcs it would put DRK at $50 each with current supply. IMO DRK has much more potential as a medium of exchange than AUR.
Once DarkRoad and other services are implemented - the price of this is a lot higher than your estimate

i would rather wish to see it around 133 so can mine few coins,this way going up it would be preaty hard or long to mine
