Uh its normal for prices to go up by 2-3x ATLEAST when they hit cryptsy. Problem is the government is hiring hackers to try and ruin darkcoin, they feel extremely threatened by it. Not only does the government feel extremely threatened but other coin developers are feeling the heat by darkcoins apparent innovations over them. Word on the streets is c-cex as a vested interest in making darkcoin fall and orchestrated the entire thing. Real price of darkcoin is .002 and anyone who sells lower is panic selling. Price is already stabilizing after this blatant sabotage and once darksend is implemented, we're reaching new milestones.

About the pool hashrate % problems, someone should come up with something that disconnects the last % of miners that have signed up/started working to go back under 51%.

Just leaving it like that is very dangerous, most miners don't know what a 51% attack is or don't care about it.

Zerocoin in it's current form isn't ready for primetime on a real blockchain.

In my opinion, this is an excellent time to buy (and have put my money where my mouth is and will continue to do so). Not only is this drop artificial due to the hacker, but with the price of Bitcoin tanking, the intrinsic value of Dark is even higher.

We have an outstanding coin with an amazing developer and a burgeoning community. We're in excellent shape.

Our hacker friend or his cronies might still be very actively disposing their DRK stash. Just placed a 1.3 bitmill buy order on Mintpal fully expecting it to not get filled since it was trading at 1.6 bitmill but they couldn't resist a 2 BTC order.
