Great, now that everything is stable, I'll be posting later about the vision of this project and milestones! Time to move on to actually implementing what I set out to do.

maybe you should remove http://cpu-pool.net/ from the front page, its still stuck on block 4500

As promised, here is our vision and future plans for XCoin!

http://xcoin.co/XCoinVision.pdf

TL;DR: We're building XCoin into a moderately-anonymous network, where the transactions are sent encrypted and only able to be read the party who is receiving the funds. Blocks will be published via CoinJoin as to ensure some amount of anonymity. This is being built in such a way to compete with the other top alt-coins and maybe even Bitcoin.

That's great! Congrats on getting stratum-mining to work, that thing is a nightmare.

yeah it is, especially when the upstream git repo had indent errors in it as well... talk about scratching my head lol

Mining there with my small cpu now.
good we need to get the hashes spread out so one pool doesnt have too much hashing power...

NEW POOL

Ive setup a new pool for xcoin, with a twist.

first 20 to switch over gets credited 20 xco after being active for 1 week.

AND

every 7 days there is a lottery, ( 1 ticket per active user, per day, totally 7) the winning pot is 50 % of the fees, plus the next 3 weeks i will
throw in 100 xco on top of that.

pool is PPLNS fee is 2% (50% goes to the lottery pot) full block rewards.

xco.lotterymining.com

(Currently the stats on the dashboard doesnt work, but the pool IS finding blocks :-) )

That's great! Congrats on getting stratum-mining to work, that thing is a nightmare.

I am running an amd 6 core and every one crashes instantly for me
edit:
it seems to work on my newer amd 8 core... still testing
its working great on my AMD FX(tm)-8320 Eitht-Core Processor 3.50 GHz
Looks like i am getting at least double the hash rate i was before!!!
edit 2
crashes as soon as it connects to a pool or client regardless of whether it has a valid username
my processor is an AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1100T Processor
Sad now if only i could make it run on this machine

pool.xcoin.co is live and working properly! Let's move over some processing power and decentralize this network

cpu-pool is stuck on block 4500

maybe smalltimeminer should close registrations for new one for a while, even delist it from this thread until we can get it spread out...

just my 2 cents

Ok, it's interesting!
BTW what do u think about coined up or cryptsy?

Yeah, I'd like to get the coin listed somewhere.

I think coined up is good for it. At least as a first exchange.
