Maybe everybody is right on their perspective.I'm not a miner,I couldn't even set my cpu or gpu to mine if I wanted to.But there is only one fact here and that is miners have to pay hydro.and hydro is not paid with promises (true or false is not the case).No one knows the future.If there's someone who does,I don't think he'll tell us.Even if he tells us he won't sign a contract with us,so,we're back to promises.
Someone might say that miners back in 2011 had a vision and nothing to believe in.Yes,that's true,but in 2011 you could find blocks using a cheap laptop that cost half the price of a good ATI GPU and consumed 80% less energy.

The coin is still priced well. A tip to the miners: stop mining now and be sorry when Decred is listed on Poloniex, because price is going to explode when it does

500k satoshi was the correct price for miners, now it's barely good so yes 30% is huge it is a dump lol

if mining is not profitable due to electricity cost, it comes down to what is cheaper way to acquire dcred...to mine or to buy on exchanges

Inflation of DCR is great ; but also the community and the potential.

It was. Many people temporarily sell other positions to move into ETH but as there's limited buy support they can easily fall a lot, it's good opportunity to buy in cheaper. DCR unfortunately has massive year 1 inflation so can't go very far, though might get a nice little bump once it's added to Poloniex, after that sell your DCR and come back in 2-3 years imo.

I have to say you that we don't get enough coins to compensate the loss that come for the price drop. For that reason, I have to quit Decred mining now because what I get just cover my mining costs.
