I agree with you on that we moved the discussion onto a law centered one even though it is probably not the case. As for myself i am a person of numbers and statistics that is the basis of most of my posts , but i believe that people should give some time for estabilisment as this coin had no ico or crowdfunding for development. More than probable that developers got the real incentive to build this coin roughly 6 days ago when they saw that people are interested in it. Let's not forget that there were coins with higher premine and an ico of ~$18M and after 9 months of development from ico funds they launched a singular CLI wallet without the possibility of using an user friendly web wallet, and now that coin is considered the second most valued coin of the cryptomarket, these are some things to be put in a balance before saying anything

Well, I'm obviously intrigued by this coin since I made a small investment and now have 71 coins to tinker with. Wish this coin caught my attention earlier so that I could have received the airdrop instead. However, I would hardly consider myself a fanboy to this coin, ATM. I have some serious doubts about the prudence of my small investment. Oh well, nothing ventured, nothing gained. To da mewn.

Must agree with you those who bought in it without knowledge of earlier development must feel disappointed(because of a missing gui wallet, because of lack of an user friendly description, because of the tech pos etc.) but i feel that the work that has been invested in this coin will have it's reward, probably not in 2 weeks but a a person who studied the decred constitution and other c0 articles i still feel that this coin offers something different maybe with some hickups but the incentive is good and i am not saying that it will surpass bitcoin coz that would be a hard task but if they will continue teh work they've done so far and based on pos tickets they will improve the system i truly believe that technology wise it has it's place in top 10 coinmarketcap(and that being a pessimist estimation)

Are you new here?
Can you do numbers?
Do you have anything kind of factual in your opinions or just your airdrop influenced ideals?
Apparently i'm on this board since 2013 so i'd not consider myself "new".

Factual about what? about founders not dumping their part after a while?
You see, the task of presenting the facts is actually the accuser's duty...

Wrong, the task for presenting the facts is on the one trying to prove the positive. For example, if I go to small claims court, and am the defendant, and my defense is that I paid the debt, it's now up to me to prove that I did.

Wrong. Lets assume that you are a serial killer, you don't have to proove that you are innocent but the accusing part has to prove that you are guilty with proofs, not with claims or accusations that could not be backed by proofs. Remember the international law accepts the presumption of not guilty until it is proved othervise

In Jeffrey Dahmer's trial, the burden of proof shifted to the defense because they were using the insanity defense. The defense had to prove Jeffrey Dahmer was insane. They failed, of course.

They couldn't but that's a particular case picked out of thousands. Still in regular cases offense has to prove the guilt. Picking a particular precedent case to maintain the guilt scenario will either help the offense or not that's still not an accepted pledoary in international law

My argument was that it is always the burden of proof to prove the affirmative.(Sorry that I used the word positive.) Also, in the context of this forum, we are not formally prosecuting the dev team. The trolls are not the only ones that need to provide proof for their claims. The cheerleaders also should provide evidence of what they affirm is true. No proof and it is just FUD or Hype.

Are the Devs using a premine to get a wallet built?

Paymetheus is going to get forked for decred by it's creator for payment in dcr
I have no idea what that means

and a native gui for decred is being under development by the dev team

totally "airdrop influenced ideas"

decred created their own cult following by hosting what was probably the largest most profitable giveaway ever done (to my knowledge) on this forum.

that will keep people on the koolaid for some time i assume

While you are probably right by a certain degree (every coin on this board had his hardcore fans aswell as fud spreaders), i must remind you that they didn't give away bitcoins; they did give away DCR.
The fact that DCR are highly valued is purely a market decision.

well to respect your opinion i have to admit your right there
a person would think that due to the distro method the coin would have entered at much lower price
then again about 85% of airdrops havent moved/weren't claimed?
intresting coin lol
im still not convinced due to the str8 lack of real dev work (imo)
time will tell tho

So what is the market cap. It's not showing on coinmarketcap.

1.7m X $380 X 0.0035

Around $2.5 M      did I do my sums right?

So coinmarketcap is still not showing the marketcap of DCR.
I presume it's now
1.7M X $400 X .003.

about $2.1 M

Is that right?

Yes that's right
