Up-to-date information on Documentchain's DIP3 status and instructions for preparing your masternode
can now be found at https://documentchain.org/news/dip3/
When will Spork 15 be activated?
When all masternodes go to DIP3?
The gap between blocks can sometimes reach 30 minutes, very unevenly.
Will a more advanced difficulty adjustment mechanism be implemented?

Despite the small hashrate, mining is not particularly profitable, I tried mining, compared to other coins, the profit is low, it is more profitable to mine other coins and buy this one.
Perhaps it is more profitable on Ryzen, who is mining what, please share.
I like the fact that this coin is presented on the monitoring and hosting services of masternodes, I looked at the price, it is decreasing in relation to bitcoin, which makes the investment not very profitable.

DIP3 is active on mainnet (confirmed by the miners).
Please update your Masternode daemon "DMS Core" to the current version 0.13.3.1 if not already done.

The Documentchain DIP3 deployment has started, the miners must now agree. We will inform you early before the final activation via Spork 15. Masternode operators will have enough time for the update, there is no need for activity yet.

Documentchain (DMS) with its efficient German development cycle and clever document notary service, is a low cap crypto that could easily x6-7 its All Time High (ATH) of $17.72 and reach $120 in this current bull cycle. It's a great BARGAIN at the current price of $0.01 cents! Fill your boots!!

Yeah. Get Elon on here Wink

We are happy to announce the new DMS Core release "Ivan"
Documentchain was originally developed as a fork from Dash 0.12. Version 0.13 Ivan is the main step to update the code base to current Bitcoin/Dash versions.

Notable News
1. DIP0002 - Special Transactions
This was introduced in Dash mainly for the new masternode quorum transactions. However, this also offers new possibilities for us and we are planning special document transactions.
2. DIP0003/DIP0004 - Deterministic Masternode List
More stability in masternode management and protection against 51% attacks.
3. A new information and notes page in the main window.

=> Download and instructions on github

First, it is important that all miners upgrade to version 0.13 and thus agree to the DIPs.
Masternodes do not need to be updated yet. Note, however, that your masternode and your local wallet must have the same version (0.12 or 0.13) to control the MN.

This looks like pretty high-grade stuff to me, well done!

BTW -- you might want to tell that Blockchain-Insider writer of this http://www.blockchain-insider.de/documentchain-setzt-auf-flits-wallet-a-993055/ article to familiarize himself with *DAS wallet*, *DAS Portemonnaie* (nicht "die"!!)

Thanks for your reply.
According to linguistic feeling, many people write "die Wallet" in German. It happens to me too, even though I know it's actually called "das Wallet".

Having sifted through all the info over on flits.app, I am now trying to figure out which (other) Cryptos flits.app supports beyond Flits and DMS tokens. Any info would be appreciated. Also, an easy-to-follow manual on the setup process for the Flitswallet integration with DMS would be great.

Flits supports some coins, but I do not have a complete list. For the masternode setup you are guided in the app.

Please could you also let me know what the DMS acronym stands for in the first place? (No mention yet in the docs I saw, incl OP, ANN post here or that dude's article I referenced above.)

These would sure help marketing DMS and making your coin accessible to potential users (more adoption, higher success rate for your project). But, as I said earlier, great work so far!

DMS is the acronym for Document Management System.

Documentchain is available on Flits and ZCore Wallets

You now have the choice between two mobile wallets to store your DMS coins and host your masternodes.

Further information is available at
https://flitswallet.app/
https://zcore.app/DMS
https://documentchain.org/resources/

This looks like pretty high-grade stuff to me, well done!

Any revival of the classic Namecoin project and NMC features -- now mostly abandoned, it seems -- are greatly appreciated here!

(This really sucks, especially when a "writer" like that guy doesn't know any better in his native language...) There are very easy-to-follow Ho-tos for this in the first section of Duden's Vol 1 -- Rechtschreibung. It might help if you told him, thank you.

I am really struggling to setup the DMS Core Wallet, I need to know what the latest peers are to use in the dms.conf file.

Addnodes are not necessary, there are seed nodes stored in the code.
The first synchronization takes a while.
The slow termination is due to the fact that the headers are synchronized in the beginning.

I am really struggling to setup the DMS Core Wallet, I need to know what the latest peers are to use in the dms.conf file.
Does it contain the IP of the peer in this notation example:

addnode=45.7.230.51:41319

OR

45.7.230.51:41319

The peers i got off Guthub dont help , wallet still says connecting to peers.

Also noted, the wallet takes ages to shutdown ~ 3 minutes maybe

It took it's time to connect but it did it in the end for me.

Seems like a coin with potential at this moment, only 1/3rd of the coins have been even mined yet.

DMS Core Development
We have started the migration to the Dash 0.16 code base. The first step was to create our own utility for customizing the files and texts. Now we go through the commits from DMS Core and merge them into the current code base.
