Dogecoin's price has been relatively good lately, and the market as a whole is in a big bear market, so we need to pay attention to the risk of investment.

Doge's good value is shown, in market conditions that are concerned about this coin giving me a smile. there will be a significant increase, I will wait. Up and down coins is very reasonable, I hope the Doge tokens are always stable at good prices.

DOGE already had a lot from the beginning - just down to some simple design choices

• 10x transactional capacity of BTC (pre segwit)
• Lightning transaction speed
• Virtually no tx fee
• Unlimited supply - at low yield per year

The last point is important as it means the chain can always keep moving (due to incentive), and because only 4-5% of extra DOGE can be generated per year, and a diminishing levels, it means that it will be mined long into the future and there will always be a reward - check out IXC which was an experiment to see what would happen to BTC once all coins had diminished - chain is still going, but its just being held up

Add wide adoption to exchanges, and large number secondary market to the mix, and you have something that the newer, more advanced coins will probably never get

Personally I wouldn't call it a bear market until it dropped a quite a bit further - price is still over 100 right now and we'll see in the next hours if 100 will consolidate or if the market thinks 100 is too high - if price can stay at/over 100 maybe there will be another upwards push - not sure what the next targets would be

What I have learnt from this outstanding performance of Dogecoin is that technological superiority and mountains of development funds are useless if you don't have strong believers at the back of your project. Put speculation on a side and think at possibilities Doge can continue surprising everyone in coming weeks like this.

It’s a bear market now, but it’s not falling like other currencies.i want to know what caused the rise of the dogecoin.

Yep, its in a strong position to build - but will only happen if its strength of a widely adopted secondary market and high volume, low fee coin are fully recognised. With the price dropping of other alts, the secondary market status will be brought more to the forefront.

Doge needs to get the marketcap of that coin or token what it wants to replace. Dogecoin's current move is very surprising but to climb up form here it has to face real resistance. It has already done unexpected by crossing mark of 100 Satoshi. If this succeeds to hold it till start of bullish market that will be great for next rally. No one knows what is going to happen next.

doge is now rank 18 on CMC. If it reach the 185 sats ATH, it might be included on the top 15 CMC. Doge is truly magnificent, even at time of bear season. He can climb the price up up and away!

Just days after surpassing the total market cap of Zcash (ZEC), the popular cryptocurrency meme-based cryptocurrency Dogecoin (DOGE) is closing in on Tezos (XTZ) and VeChain (VET).

The price of DOGE has been on an absolute tear since the project behind the cryptocurrency announced that it would be conducting a demo of Dogethereum, an experimental effort to bring dogecoin to the Ethereum blockchain, enabling the use of Dogecoin with Ethereum smart contracts through a new DOGE-backed Ethereum token.

Now, following the successful completion of the demo, DOGE continues to surge and is up nearly 15% in the last 24 hours. Given that the rest of the market is currently retracting, DOGE has propelled to be ranked 19th in the AltDex 100 Index (ALT100), a benchmark index for large-cap cryptocurrencies and tokens.

 
Passing top cryptocurrencies like XTZ and VET is no small feat, as these represent the forefront of the entire industry. For instance, Tezos is largely considered an “Ethereum-killer” that differentiates itself from many other blockchain platforms as it has the ability to essentially self-evolve by upgrading itself over time without having to hardfork and cause a divide in the community. The project is well-capitalized as it just closed a $232 million ICO.

DOGE now has a market cap of $765 million with an all-time high of over $2 billion.
