Just days after surpassing the total market cap of Zcash (ZEC), the popular cryptocurrency meme-based cryptocurrency Dogecoin (DOGE) is closing in on Tezos (XTZ) and VeChain (VET).

The price of DOGE has been on an absolute tear since the project behind the cryptocurrency announced that it would be conducting a demo of Dogethereum, an experimental effort to bring dogecoin to the Ethereum blockchain, enabling the use of Dogecoin with Ethereum smart contracts through a new DOGE-backed Ethereum token.
Now, following the successful completion of the demo, DOGE continues to surge and is up nearly 15% in the last 24 hours. Given that the rest of the market is currently retracting, DOGE has propelled to be ranked 19th in the AltDex 100 Index (ALT100), a benchmark index for large-cap cryptocurrencies and tokens.
Passing top cryptocurrencies like XTZ and VET is no small feat, as these represent the forefront of the entire industry. For instance, Tezos is largely considered an “Ethereum-killer” that differentiates itself from many other blockchain platforms as it has the ability to essentially self-evolve by upgrading itself over time without having to hardfork and cause a divide in the community. The project is well-capitalized as it just closed a $232 million ICO.
DOGE now has a market cap of $765 million with an all-time high of over $2 billion.

Finally DOGE passed the 100 sats milestone but it looking unstoppable with current rhythm this is really healthy rise. There is still very strong buy support and big whales are pushing this to more higher and higher.
Yes, surely the holders will be very happy, this is news that has been awaited for a long time. Finally the holder can sell their doge and immediately buy again when doge drops again. But to go up again it is still a long speculation.
If the growth continues for at least some time and at the same time Doge is now growing against the entire market. Thus making this the year of the Dog.

Few days ago when Doge touched this price it was backed by more than one hundred millions volume. Short term Bitcoin's price are very important to see whether Doge will be able to use this floor as pad for launching new skyrocket or it will come down. Like in previous comments everyone is saying it is hard to reach at conclusion about the next move of the market.
I think DOGE is a good coin, I have known for more than 3 years and often make DOGE as a trading, but the price that keeps on decreasing makes everyone impatient to continue to invest and hold DOGE for a long time.
I don't know how to call Dogecoin in its potential, but it is very good time to buy the coin.Dogecoin has fallen to low price, which has been below 40 satoshi.
Even though I am very much pro crypto, calculating in Satoshis doesn't always make perfect sense. You need to take into account the dollar value as long as crypto isn't ruling the world.
If you invest in crypto then the balance is reasonably considered in the investment currency.

Up to everyone of course how to do their calculations, but honestly if you calculate in crypto only but your dollar value goes down 90%, I guess it still hurts.
