What is good with doge is that it does not fluctuate much. It is good for merchants.

I must say I do REALLY like doge. Very cheap to send.. the minimum block payout ensures it can always be very very cheap to send. Miners will continue mining forever as they get rewards thus keeping the network secure.. The doge community has done many good things.

I don't personally think that DOGE has this much potential. FWIW, it seems several other alt-coins are on the pump as well the last couple of days, maybe something bigger is at stake... who knows?

I am new to alt coins and besides btc, have only one other type.... Doge... got myslef 200 free for something or another so I had to get me a wallet for it. didn't think much of them, but the more i learn and the more I see, i like the coin. So, I am hoping to build up a nice little sum and hopefully drive the price up by buying more, and stimulating the market a bit. There have only been 17 posts in this thread in the last 3 weeks. That's a bad sign that people might be losing interest. This thread used to be really popular.
The community moved to reddit long time ago. The number of /r/dogecoin subscribers actually increased lately to 90,221.
I was wrong, it was a good sign, dogecoin has started to moon since my last post here.

I am currently having a small stash, some 1.5M if including my physical coins as well, not planing to get rich or anything like that. I just find the coin fun to play around with.
About when is a good time to get in? I think 5 days ago when it was at 38 satoshi was a good time to buy.
Now are we at 47, much harder to say now. From here could it briefly jump to the 80ties, it could also go back to 20-30ties. I don't think we will see 250+ again. Keep in mind there are soo many DOGE coin mined every single day.
In order for the price to go radically up, then must someone buy all these coins.
250 won't happen again before bitcoin goes to 600+ again.
I do think doge is a very strong coin, and has always been strong. I would say anything below 50-60 is a good buy point at the moment.
