what happened to the http://earth.coinium.org pool today?
mining EAC came to a halt today two or three times ! (and currently)
after hours of not giving shares (on 5x day fcs), earth.coinium.org seems to be running again.
Coinium was a big disappointment toady
Since Coinium only have about 1/40 to 1/50 of total network hash, it is estimated to find a block every ~45 minutes.
I agree, there has been times we didn't find a block in over 3 hours, but now we just got 3 blocks in 1 hour.
I guess it'll stabilize when the x5 payout is over, which is in about 5 hours.

The Read Me is very good with cgminer. I used this guide https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/guide-noob-guide-to-solo-mining-usb-erupters-with-cgminer-315477, just skip the part with the eruptors. You should join a pool though.
Ok! Yes, I've joined a mining pool since before but still no luck entering the right information in cgminer.. The only thing connected seems to be the Earthcoin-program.
I've joined eac.poolerino.com and created a worker, they're giving me this info for "Stratum settings"..
STRATUM: stratum+tcp://eac.poolerino.com
PORT: 3334
Username: Weblogin.Worker
Password: Worker Password
Any other tips on guides how to configure cgminer for earthcoin..?
I have a 7850 2gb btw, planning to get some more of those though.

You now have the Chinese doing multiple coins on Cryptsy and with the DOGE load on top of the new coins going crazy
Cryptsy servers may start to buckle under all this.
I hope they are ready. Seem decent right now. I haven't really had any serious issues.
They are running really well compared to the "old school" days in NOV and DEC.
I was trading DOGE at BTER and that was super fast. But EAC and LOT are mainly Cryptsy.
Coinedup is out of the question. LOT was trading in china also but the site trading it
is not online right now.

Ok, first time mining anything and I really can't make it work. Just by CPU by "single mining" through the earthcoin-program. This after I've changed the compf-file. But at a hashrate of 10k..
How the f*k do I make cgminer work? I want to mine through my GPU, obviously. Can't find any easy guides or FAQ's, any tips??

What gpu do you have? If you're on a PC, get the program gpu-z to see detailed information about your hardware.
