I see it as another hop it has to go through which adds time. Not everyone mines at the same rate so some will have to save longer than others. And as a whole it increases the value and utility of the coin.

how do you know it's middlecoin? they don't advertise what coin they are mining.

Because I mine with them now and then. I've been tracking their switches and their difficulties in cgminer. It's not hard to see when you compare the difficulty to current difficulties of coins. They are mining doge, eac, and ltc hard. First, a longer round of doge, then they rape eac briefly, then they shift to ltc for a bit.

Here's a way to help keep the 2x and 5x payout's from ruining anything. Assuming miners are making a profit off Earthcoin on the normal payouts, they need a reason to keep the bonus payouts for themselves. If we got hardware retailers to accept Earthcoins, this would be incentive for the miners to horde the bonuses so they can put it toward more hashing power.

IMHO 2x and 5x and mining overall = inflation. Diffuculty slows inflation as does less block reward.
The keyword remains inflation. Just profitability is less after some time.
I think with EAC that time takes longer.
I hope investors and miners have enough patience in the long run.

It's keeping me from caring to mine. I loved this coin for 3 days. EAC is at an artificially high difficulty/price ratio with super-long block times. Sad

and when everyone takes his money out of doge, one more scamcoin is gone... im confident that eac will last longer.

Be honest , i think EAC has a fatal design problem . If miners decide to sell slowly , EAC will never recover in price. and investor will leave. Miners will drain the last cent of money from EAC. and then move to next coin.

After EAC become popular , this wont be a issue, since more minor will mine EAC on 5x day. But , 5x may kill EAC in early stage and never have a chance to grow up.

I dont know if Dev could cancel 5x day at this moment . For me , 5x payout day is like a game for miners. but not serious for investors. I cant imagine how EAC will become a currency with such feature ( born to be unstable in value, even worse than btc) . and expected to drop/increase value every 2 weeks.

Your point of view is correct in a static frame. The way I see it, these fluctuations are like a heart beat. They provide a cycle of attraction for speculators and adopters and investors. There is change always happening. So on a 5x day you 'may' see a price drop - it is more evident now because the base is relatively small. When the base becomes bigger you might be surprised the effect of 5x days have on the price.

So I see the non-linear fashion of money supply creation as spurring adoption much faster, as a mother's heart beat is the sole driving force that kickstarts her babies heart beat, that is what we wished to accomplish through a capital mechanism of fear and greed. Rolling hills of despair and optimism. Nothing better causes chatter and exposure. Those who win with longer time horizons and those who lose and come back in higher out of anger.

I Love it!!

It is great for investors, as we have a chance to pick up a boatload from miners that don't want to hold them.
There are no new alts with more upside than EAC...none.
