Thing is, that volume is very low,

you are all that scared, just because some guy decided to send his EAC to new owner and he was so scarred, that demand will fell even lower so he sell it that sheeeeep

but take a look at volume.. for past 24 hours on coinex it was only 11 mils EAC.. haha, what is that in terms of current coin supply? It was like 1% or like that. so if you are forecasting coin value based on totally miserable volume.. then its your problem
Another thing is, that volume is falling constantly, used to be 40 mils a day, now 11.. it means all weaky hands already sold it to stronger hands that do not panic sell once price moves but they sit on it.. and wait a few weeks, when EAC gains real momentum, then you would like to buy it back, but nobody will be selling for 200 satoshi anymore

Lots of angst on the thread now, obviously. I do think this is healthy in the medium term. Now we can climb the wall of worry. Painful as this is for me holding a lot of coin, I still see this as positive to shake out the weak hands and get enough people bearish on the coin so that the spring can be sprung when the time is right.

Im a long time investor, so I dont care.

I didnt sell doge when its was .230 , didnt sell eac, didnt sell cat... lets continue the list, but: I do feel the pain myself and asked me 100 times, why didnt you do it..

So here we go. We will see if only 1-2 of the coins will make it through 2014 and hopefully even more.

But face it, most ppl these days just want to get coins, sell and save heaven btc - here they come. I wont blame them.
Its the time for doing that, Alt coin train hast left the station nearly, so I dont think it will come back anytime soon.
A fast gold fever that lasted for some weeks now.....

The more alt coins come, the less chances are that they will survive.

Its hard enough for me to explain and convince a shop owner to accept BTC, but I stoped trying that with moon, doge, eac, whatever funny name it has.....

That might be true for some, but I think most are just frustrated that they missed a good profit when it was at 0.000004 and way above, and now they don't know if to hold or not.

I was just reading the last couple of pages trying to figure out if these "Its all over the price dropped" people are

a - Holding other coins and just trying to derail the completion.
b - Secretly hoping to bottom EAC out so they can buy at firesale prices
c - So short sighted/Weak willed/impulsive/Unintelligent that they really cant see what the reality of EAC's short life is.

And I have to say I think its a mix of all 3!
So here is my response to each group in turn

a - Get a life and try to see the big picture ,we all will benefit for the proliferation of Crypto Currency and to bicker with and backstab other crypto coins does nothing other than damage the cohesiveness of the whole movement THAT YOU ARE PART OF. remember its us against the banks or are you content to continue squabbling over the crumbs the financial elite sweep from their table?

b - Fuck off parasites, see second part of answer above.

c - Get a backbone! Look what happened to WDC + DGC and some others, in those cases as in our case it was the action of the active devs and community that guaranteed the survival and ultimate long term profitability of the project. You are throwing money away abandoning a project with such a pro active dev team and vibrant community.

I wonder about that too. What caused the latest downfall of so many Altcoins and the Bitcoin itself?

I'm not saying cryptsy is behind this, but I'm sure someone is influencing this coin's value.
It's crystal clear someone, or some group of people (maybe the Chinese :-) ) are doing everything in their power to buy in as cheap as possible...

It might go lower than this, but believe me, it will go up again!
I only hope it's not going to be pump and dump, but that the "new investors" are in for the long term.

In the last 24h EAC had a +15,000$ trading volume, that means that more than 7,500,000 EAC found a new owner!

I don't understand the fact that people are panic dumping, this is a great opportunity to buy more!
Even if you are a miner, and you say you have to pay for elektricity,... ofcourse it's not free, but if I was a miner, I would sell constantly, but only the coins to cover my electricity costs, and keep the rest.

Anyway, I agree, things look bad if you are in for the short term only.
But every long term invester should see through this manipulation...

Honestly no other alt coin has as much marketing and effort put into this. Devs, keep your head high and tackle through. This is a true test of resiliency and dedication to a project, and I don't think for a moment you will be failing to succeed in such a uniquely developed coin now.

There will be obstacles popping up more and more as the coin gains traction. Don't be too ambitious and trip over your feet - if you feel certain things are out of reach for now, scale back a little and make sure each steps are taken with solid dedication and produces solid results. Established and successful baby steps are better than trying to leap in ten different directions at once and then resigning from the project.

Hell, dogecoin made it (for a while) simply due to the 'lulz' factor.

I am not saying that I am selling at this price. I did not sell when it was higher either. The contrary, I am mining only EAC and collecting them all.

I just can't understand people throwing away EAC's and thus destabilizing the market. I know that most of those dumpsters only care for getting some money out for themselves. But why go so low?
