have a question not concerning the "damn premined" EAC, but other cryptos.
if, for example, cat coin, have a blok every 10 minutes, and it was launched near christmas, why they are found about 21000 blocks?
same for doge, but more less than cat. on cat's blockchain i count about 18000 blocks more than the time, on doge, about 2000 bloks more than the time needed for create it.

anybody can explain me?

It's simple: in crypto currencies, nothing is based on time. When you say "every 10min", it's a target. The real value will depends on the Net Hashrate and the difficulty. If the difficulty is smaller than what it should be for a given hashrate, then the blocks will be mine quicker than once every 10min.
What probably happened, is that CAT started with a diff 0.002 and with an initial net hashread ~X GH/s (way more than what's corresponding to 0.002 diff).

Was I clear?

ty for reply, now it's clear Smiley

KlondikeCoin - Get Real Gold !
Gentle bump as this was the last post on the previous page and might get missed for a bit, kinda important...

General update:

....

* We'll be spending the next phase on top level priorities and networking with exchanges. I actually reached out to BigVern on my Skype yesterday morning despite my efforts not to bug him - and have not had a response yet - we're not that 'close' so I feel funny continuing to wag my tail over and over at him, if there is an update you're all the first to know. Something is DEFINITELY happening over there, we just hope we're a part of it sooner than later now.

....

Well - I just got a response :: This doesn't mean anything regarding a timeline nor has anything changed from my previous time reaching out to him. I know it's important to everyone however it's also important to me not to be aggressive or pushy so this REALLY is my last time bugging him about this.

EDIT: And in b4 'fake/photoshop/thatsnotHim/proveit'

Can't be missed now on this page Smiley

Impossible is Nothing
Personally I think the lack of Twitter from Big Vern is a postive thing - they are either getting themselves straight (it's always been a bit buggy)....or still getting back to full staff after the Xmas holidays.

So I think still fine for EAC being listed.

However.....if I had to start a What's Happened to Big Vern rumour...I'd ditch the Coinye and aliens one and go with 'in talks to sell Cryptsy'  Wink

Oh so now he is SELLING cryptsy to the ILUMINATI!!!

Edit: sorry, couldn't help it, had to get it out. I'm fine now, I really am. back to busyness everyone, nothing to see here...

Great Job +1.

EDIT: I just sent you 25,000 eac, please do another one tomorrow.

You guys should give out fewer coins to more people if the point is to get in fresh meat.

@earthcoin

In the context of a possible impending lawsuit against the Coinye devs - and yes maybe the RPC as well - I can't help mentioning/asking if the devs behind EAC are absolutely sure there can be no lawsuit from e.g. Microsoft with that very similar logo to the Internet Explorer one..?

I think that is ok. Earthcoin has no conncetion to the IE. And it is just a plain lower case 'e'. In my opinion the logo reminds people of the logo of the internet explorer. I showed the logo to many people and they all saw it "Ihhh internet explorer. Nice coin, but this logo is bad".

Is there a possibilty for a competion for a new logo. Same style but less ie-ish? Maybe another font style.

It's not even that similar. It's just a blocky lowercase E. The tail of the IE 'e' hooks around to end parallel with the upper part, the EAC one does not. And the IE 'e' is heavier weight.

Please, for god's sake, do not change the logo now. Look at what happened with Quark running a 'logo contest'. it became an absolute cluster*** and everyone still uses the old logo.

EAC logo is awesome. Microsoft does not have a trademark on lowercase letter E's.

lol. It is similar.  If you have to go into dept to say it isn't similar, it's similar.  I immediately thought of internet explorer when I saw the E.  Sure, you can say it's not the same.  It isn't.  However, it's close enough to confuse most people.

In 80 years time people at museums will look at the microsoft explorer logo and say it reminds them of the EAC logo.

Now that you have caught them Roboseal Wink I'm not going to let them get away. I am tripling the EarthCoin faucet on http://earthcointalk.org until I give away an extra 15000 EAC!
