I have mined eac since it first launched and it has done nothing but go down since the day it appeared on Coinedup. I think a lot of people are dumping this coin because it never gets listed on cryptsy when a lot of newer coins already are. I also hate to mine for days and days without knowing if it is all in vain. If it doesn't hit Cryptsy soon I am also going to dump all of mine at whatever price because it looks like all it ever does is go dowwwwwnnnnn. It started out on Coinedup at 800 now we are down to 200.

I think everyone whom sells in the next several weeks because of lack of crypsty, low prices or any of the other cited complaints:  will find themselves wishing they had held and stayed in the game.   I am also not thrilled about how many things are going with EAC however EAC as always been poised to be a long-term project.   I think good things come to those who wait.

I hope you are right, however, I have also been involved in a number of coins in which bad things came for those who waited it out.

maybe he's been abducted by aliens... or at least by the dev team of UFOcoin.

afk since 30th december, looks like he's still celebrating new years eve.

But conspiracy must continue... maybe BigVern is an alien and he flew back to his home planet... who knows these days?Smiley

You're doing it wrong, maybe he is a double agent of the NSA who want to sabotage this party and he brought us Coinye in order to obliterate all crypto, but he is really a reptilian alien who takes orders from the iluminati and their plan is just to keep all the gold to themselves and keep us enslaved? (guys, if I'm not replying anymore on this thread just know that they got me and probably probed me to death on their spaceship).

^ I LOL'D! That was much needed thanks - tip sent Smiley

I think people need to be reminded of a simple fact:

go to coinex, scroll back as far as you can. the earliest day you can see a price:

you'll find EAC with the label "open" at 250 satoshi.

yes, it was 250 satoshi back then.

now we are at 277...

now take a look at basically every other new coin. some lost 93% of their value, like moon.

how about people see the big picture,  recognize that doige has lost constantly every day, while we are still at starting levels.

yes, we were at 900 too, but we did not crash far far below starting price as doge did and all the other trash coins

what do you expect? several hundred % in a week?

right now prices are hilariously cheap, yet no indication that EAC has tanked or is on the way out. on the contrary. EAC has been the most stable coin out there, despite BTC spike and tons of competition

BTW, DOGE startpoint was 23 santoshi. ;-)

We lost about 50 MH/s yesterday, but we're still chugging along! PM me if you want a bonus for committing 1 MH/s+ to our pool for 24 hours.

Whaat? Chunky Giveaway?

  • I will be giving away 10,000 EAC EACH to 3 random accounts when we hit 100 MH/s
  • I will be giving away 100 EAC to block finders.

Why mine at Chunky?

  • We have experience running successful pools for multiple coins
  • We are equipped to withstand thousands of workers, and if our load gets high, we don't even have to take downtime to increase our server instances' sizes
  • We aren't running MPOS default layout -- we have our own custom layout
  • We have a decent-sized, noob-friendly, super-helpful community in #chunky on freenode
  • We have SSL for users' password security -- 95% of pools do not
  • We are committed admins who look into every single issue reported by our users
  • We run lots of giveaways and promotions -- given away over 1 million DOGE and 10,000 EAC since our launch
  • We give back to the alt-coin open source community through further development of MPOS

https://pool.chunky.ms/eac/

NOTE: We are patched with the stratum tx message fix.

P.S. In addition to all this, I'm just throwing coins at new miners in this thread. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=391190.new#new

P.P.S. We just launched a brand new layout, if you're sick of the MPOS default!

Support your local mining pool.

Ehmm, bro, you wasnt here when EAC launched. Because that was terrible start too. ;-)

it's "you were not" and yes I was. I mined from the first minute on.

and this is not about "bad launch". and EAC was not a bad launch.

not compared to this
Then you know yourself very well that there were many problems. BTW, everybody can read it on early pages. ;-) Dont lie. :-p

BTW, DOGE startpoint was 23 santoshi. ;-)

really? ok. cryptsy first day opening was 20.000 satoshi. twenty thousand
coinex first day opening was 98 satoshi

how do you come up with that fantasy figure?

DOGE started on Coins-e. ;-)

Take it easy bro because you are not doing good name for this coin. ;-)

And thanks for teaching me grammar. :-)

it seems, that bigvern is not kidnapped or dead...

https://twitter.com/timemenu/status/420722315588927489/photo/1

Edit Whoops... it's just made by a random guy not connected to cryptsy i guess

If the rumors are true, he's just too busy dealing with his Coinye project to list any new coins.

I doubt bigvern would be stupid enough to risk lawsuits with such an idiotic new coin

+1

The only award this coin deserves is
"Most likely to get makers sued"

Seriously when that pathetic childish "star" gets wind of this his first action is going to be calling his legal team.

He already did.

LOL,
I was not aware of that good to see they used a realistic picture of Mr West on the coin.....
If anyone from cryptsy is involved in coinye then that would truly be the stupidest move ever.

Just an FYI, EBay does not allow sell of crypto-currency through their auction or fixed price format. I had a lengthy discussion on the phone with them about how dumb that was, but 'policy is policy' and you can only list on eBay 'classifieds' Format (Worthless IMO, just use Craigslist instead).

They were very clear that they are actively trying to find, warn, and de-list all cryptos being sold on eBay currently, and they were aware that they have not canceled many auctions in time before they end. They also said they would SUSPEND YOUR ACCOUNT if you are a repeat offender.

So I would be very careful about listing on eBay, or at least call them first to hear what I just relayed. Looks like they are pulling an RIAA here and now willing to adjust to the future, and all the $$$ that entails.

Just an FYI for other EarthCoiners.

I hope the price keeps selling off. I want to get 1 million shares while it is very low.

I see EAC being sold on ebay right now.
5000 EAC for $25
5000 EAC for $38
etc.

Maybe it's better to sell them on ebay Smiley

And then being payed by Paypal which they can get there money back Cheesy
