I'm thinking about offering online personal training, diet plans, exercise plans etc for those who want to lose weight, or beginner-intermediate gym rats etc etc. for EAC. Anybody interested? I'll provide more accurate information later on.

The Earthcoin developers will raise funds for accredited charities and approved relief efforts in the event of earthquakes, floods, fires, violent weather disasters and other natural crises. We will support first responders and their canine units, medical and humanitarian aid, food, water and shelter for displaced people and animals, and similar services. On August 3, 2014, a magnitude 6.5 earthquake occurred in Ludian County, Zhaotong City, Yunnan province China, causing terrible damage in a vulnerable rural area. At the time of this announcement, it has killed 589 people. Earthcoin, which represents humanitarian and environmental causes with a global outlook, will support the people afflicted by this terrible event.

The Earthcoin developers and community extend their sincere concern and sympathy. We are aware that the first 72 hours in any rescue efforts are critical, and that raising support for the victims quickly is very important.

Yep, tyvm for the suggestion. If you look at this thread through the week, you will notice that some or all announcements do appear in this BCT thread or on other Earthcoin social media outlets. The newsletter summarizes everything in one spot in case you don't follow all our websites.

Please spread the word. There is still time to add more students and former students to this year's round.

Wait until you see our other projects, to be announced on a rolling basis. Each project is designed to use this altcoin to solve a niche problem in the fiat economy in a constructive way.

Just a suggestion for the EAC PR officer: I think it would be, if possible, better idea to release news on steady stream instead of multiple news at the same time. Of course this can't be controlled all the time, but if you have, say, 10 news to publish, you can slightly delay some of them. The idea came from the last "burst" of things. I feel if there's too much news you kind of miss some of them or might not read everything properly.
