I am sure we all could use some good news this afternoon... EverGreenCoin will be added to Staisybit in the near future.
If you don't know, Staisybit is a cloud staking service website. Very similar to the now defunct coinwallet.io that had EverGreenCoin as one of its many coins, you can access the site, and therefor your wallet, with any web-enabled device. Mobile users will be able to send and receive EverGreenCoin much like they would with a mobile wallet built specifically for their device (android, iOS, ect.) and still earn interest from Proof of Stake on holdings. This service website can also be used by desktop/laptop users that wish to stake constantly but not leave their computer running constantly.

When solo mining you will not see shares accepted. When you do see something accepted, it will be a block.

I see two things wrong. First, you do not use stratum. Use http because you do not have a stratum server and thus use getwork. Also, specify the user and password with the -O argument (capitol O as in Ohio).

I've only got 6 connections atm and that worries me most.

That sounds right. You will get more connections and probably have by the time you read this.

It does appear some forks have happened on the network the past few hours. Please verify your blockchain via the block explorer.
Do not move your EverGreenCoin to or from an exchange until we can verify they are on the correct blockchain.
Measures will be made to lock out old wallets. A hardfork will occur to increase block times to slow down the network's PoS blocks. There will be a mandatory upgrade to implement this.
I had hoped to avoid these steps but it is evident it is a necessity. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Do not move your EverGreenCoin to or from an exchange until we can verify they are on the correct blockchain.

To solo mine you need to first edit your evergreencoin.conf file. Add these lines to your evergreencoin.conf in the data directory (C:\Users\TeddyBeer\AppData\Roaming\EverGreenCoin\evergreencoin.conf). If the file does not exist you must make a new file and name it evergreencoin.conf in that mentioned directory.

The rpcallowip value (192.168.0.45 in the example) is the IP address your mining software will be connecting to mine from. If it is the same machine, just use its IP address though you could use localhost or 127.0.0.1 as well.
Then start your wallet so it will read the new configuration. Then point your miner to the IP address of the host running the wallet (which might be the same machine) on port 5758 using the username and password you specified in the evergreencoin.conf file.

Well again problems with EGC, probably dev now alone mining last blocks with just a cpu.
All pools stopped again, and if 5 hours ago issue will not orphan blocks after that, this will be scammest coin ever released.

to let you know, I already downloaded the wallet 3 times, in these past few weeks coz the bootstrap that you provided doesn't work on me. i dont know why. but to make it short, I prepare to download again the wallet even I will wait for almost 5 hours just to keep up the blockchain again. However when I leave my wallet for 3 days locked and open it again. it stuck, same problem I've encountered, So I downloaded again the wallet and wait 5-6 hours to be on the correct chain and staked. and now it's the same problem again my wallet got stuck
so maybe I will leaved it for a week till the network becomes healthy.. I know the developer is very responsive when it comes to this concerned. it's just it kind of annoying of repeating the same error.. 
Is your time and date set correctly on your PC? There is no wrong with my date and time and im using the latest qt wallet. FYI problem has been solved thanks to crytochainer. It's much more easy to download the blockchain than having the bootstrap. Well thanks anyway for the concern, have a nice day.

Isnt POW supposed to end at some point?
PoW ends at block 525960 according to the stats tab at the wallet.Accumulating nicely at Bittrex btw
