It was the Bitcointalk forum that inspired us to create Bitcointalksearch.org - Bitcointalk is an excellent site that should be the default page for anybody dealing in cryptocurrency, since it is a virtual gold-mine of data. However, our experience and user feedback led us create our site; Bitcointalk's search is slow, and difficult to get the results you need, because you need to log in first to find anything useful - furthermore, there are rate limiters for their search functionality.
The aim of our project is to create a faster website that yields more results and faster without having to create an account and eliminate the need to log in - your personal data, therefore, will never be in jeopardy since we are not asking for any of your data and you don't need to provide them to use our site with all of its capabilities.
We created this website with the sole purpose of users being able to search quickly and efficiently in the field of cryptocurrency so they will have access to the latest and most accurate information and thereby assisting the crypto-community at large.

So the community is aware, I will be bringing down the primary seed node so I can upgrade it to EverGreenCoin version 1.1.2. This code is available on the EverGreenCoin GitHub repository. There is no need to upgrade to this code and is an optional update.
Version 1.1.2 only consists of new additional checkpoints, some minor cosmetic improvements, and removal of the twitter / news feed. The twitter / news feed, more specifically the .dll's that it is dependent on, were isolated as the source of the errors Windows users are encountering with version 1.1.1. If you are running version 1.1.1 on Linux and enjoy the twitter / news feed, by all means, continue using it because only the Windows version is effected by this problem. The twitter / news feed and its dependencies have been removed from the code so that a reliable Windows wallet can be compiled. This does not mean we are giving up on the twitter / news feed. This is a temporary measure we have chosen so that a reliable and stable, in all functions, Windows EverGreenCoin wallet can be released allowing for more time to implement the twitter / news feed in a way that does not cause the problems that version 1.1.1 for Windows users have experienced. If you have had no issues with your EverGreenCoin version 1.1.1 Windows wallet, the upgrade will not be required and you can continue to use your v1.1.1 wallet if you so chose. The release of the Windows v1.1.2 wallet will be as soon as possible after its compilation and testing. If all goes as planned, released within 24 hours certainly. If you have had issues with your Windows v1.1.1 EverGreenCoin wallet, I do apologize for your inconvenience it has caused you. A solution is on the way. February 17, 2016, 12:15:41 AM
We have been, and still are, testing out a new back-end for the faucet. If you have recently been to the faucet, you might see some very small payments as this is being tested. You are welcome! These test have not been conducted with the Foundation's coins. Also, so the community is aware, I will be moving a small amount (10 EGC total) of the EverGreenCoin Foundation's coins to another wallet (EcMDgSSYGT8UwrKCnbLeWuH3rZMyE4Hv2D) to disperse faucet payments on behalf of the Foundation.
