you need nodes and your own blockchain to keep the coin running, compare to token it uses ethereum network to facilitate the transactions.

Seems like the coin was abandoned by developers. Nothing from the original developer since February here on btc-talk (https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/endorphincoin-1817575) and then it has been over a month in discord.
It sounded like a good project with the dev talking about deals to integrate with a gaming provider but now it seems like nothing is happening. It looks like every other high ROI masternode thing happening where the coin is high ROI and high value for a short period of days and then the only one who profits are those who had MN early.
Maybe the community is trying to do something with it. Even abandoned coins are often coins with ideas that sound like they could work so maybe someone is trying to make this work. If that's the case then they should:
Setup a Twitter account and follow through with integration plans with various gaming providers. But I highly doubt this is viable now and the tragedy is that this can poison the well for future opportunities.

Pretty much sums it up. Pretty much everything I bought / mined in January - February was a scam. No wonder the market is fucked for so long.
