EnergyCoin 19th November 2018 update
Hello everyone and welcome to the 8th official update from EnergyCoin Foundation.

We are sure that majority of you know about EC Core and EC Web clients, but for the new members of the growing EnergyCoin community.

EnergyCoin Core Client
With Core Client there are few benefits. Most important is staking. Staking is basically mining cryptocurrency that is PoS (proof of stake), with more weight (how much ENRG you got), you earn your coins faster. Second important benefit of Core Client is that you don’t need the internet for it to work, it is an offline wallet. As you could figure out from the context, there is no staking on a web wallet. There is one part that takes time, and it is syncing. You can find details about downloading and syncing here.

EnergyCoin Web Client
Our web wallet is easy for usage, and everyone can create one without downloading anything, just click here and create one for yourself if you haven’t thus far. Advantage of a web wallet is that there is no syncing, no waiting, nothing complicated, just simple clicks and you’re done and ready to transfer your ENRG to the address you received. Is it safe? Yes, it is. Just make sure that you save your “private key” somewhere safe where no one can look. With it, you can restore all of your funds due server crash or any other kind of issue and you can sync your web wallet with your Core Client any time you want.

EnergyCoin 16th November 2018 update
Hello everyone and welcome to the 7th official update from EnergyCoin Foundation.

EnergyCoin Dashboard App
The first version of the App will be web-based with a primary function to register users green behavior to the environment, through rewards received from EnergyCoin partner organisations like Ring-Ring and WarmSweaterDay. It displays info that track how friendly you are to the environment by cycling a bike or putting on a sweater and turning down the energy consumption in your home: total amount of saved kWh, m3 gas (m3 of gas costs 67 eurocent) and prevented CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. The dashboard will keep users record on daily, weekly, monthly, 6 months and yearly basis, as well as an overall view from the registration date. Our ultimate goal is to save our environment as much as possible, by showing you benefits of it, environmental and financial.


As there is a way to track with our App how much funds you’ve saved while behaving green, and how thankful the environment is for your behavior, we come to the secondary function of the App. You will not just be saving funds, but you also receive rewards from our partners!

Phase two consideration
Initial rewards will be in bicycle bits(BB) or a different virtual token. When you receive your virtual token, you can request from our partner to exchange that token for ENRG. In the App will be displayed how much ENRG would you receive for the virtual tokens you got as a reward.

And do not forget, the App is FREE!

Ironic point would be crypto does the bit part much better then any idea of trying to split up metals.   This is something they may not get, its relatively easy for anyone at all to be involved in crypto so this articles idea only really applies to the big money companies.   I've always thought crypto in general should and is going to suceed on a more distributed personal basis, not large mining farms etc.   I never liked that happening to BTC personally, the concentration and scales of economy from large scale processing is not what crypto should be or it loses the decentralised element that is its backing.

[Just watching a video now on using gold in a pawnshop for example, theres a premium of 20% (or 'spread') being discussed which is a fair bit of 'cost' to consider along with other arguments]

The amount of energy required to “mine” one dollar’s worth of bitcoin is more than twice that required to mine the same value of copper, gold or platinum, according to a new paper, suggesting that the virtual work that underpins bitcoin, ethereum and similar projects is more similar to real mining than anyone intended.

One dollar’s worth of bitcoin takes about 17 megajoules of energy to mine, according to researchers from the Oak Ridge Institute in Cincinnati, Ohio, compared with four, five and seven megajoules for copper, gold and platinum.

Missing is EnergyCoin.conf in your list I see.
It that file there are the nodes to connect.
We choice for EnergyCoin was not to implement autoconnect but is in conf file.

This is my EnergyCoin.conf


Node 34.220.184.50 is the master node of the EnergyCoin network after Delisting of EnergyCoin from Bittrtex.
There are more nodes you can add but this one is sufficient with 40 connections!

Does anyone have any idea what is going on here? I feel like I have been waiting my whole life for this wallet to start syncing.
I have downloaded the blockchain from the bootstrap server and copied over files to the correct directories.

And do not give the price to grow 

Be patient there is no dump and people have to discover this new market.

Already put up 1 million coins for sale.
Something excitement did not work, and there are no trades at all (
