Thank you for your interest in our project.
We have a kind of a roadmap you can find in this post.
There is no white paper yet but we work on two projects as a start.
The BicycleBits and p2p fresh green energy trading.
We don't share details now for security reasons.
Back in 2015 I shared many details and now I see 101 ICO working on these ideas.
We had no funding and nobody understood then the real use cases for blockchain and energy.
Pictures I posted with my vision I see now back in all the ICO's and then we decided to work behind the scenes.
We have some big investors who know what we preparing and they support us 100%.
In 2018 we get real value with first applications and a dozen of other applications for a better environment.
Energy is just one of them and all the others contribute to the greater goal.
We have soon the EnergyCoin Foundation website that gives more information.

Hello, Jan. Question about staking energycoin. Some people say POS coin must be unlocked while syncing. Some people say don't unlock your wallet till it gets synced fully. If you unlock your wallet before it syncs it might get forked. What about energycoin?

You can get some orphans blocks but is not a big problem.

Thats standard market dynamics, theres always people trying to play the order book for profit but often they are leveraged and have to pay that borrowers bill with a profit somehow. Only way to be sure you can know you will be on top is to be right in the longer term. Also the coins themselves pay a stake but not left on an exchange

We have now a kind of a roadmap for the coming months.
And when there is some new visions or thoughts that can contribute to the EnergyCoin ecosystem I share them.
We have a solution for scaling but that part a can't share for now.
Also, an idea to improve the security for our energy MVP.
After energy and mobility, we work also for personal and business carbon ledger, that topic is connected to better climate solutions we work on.

I can't go into detail yet but we have besides the strategic team of EnergyCoin Foundation also a technical team.
The reason we are not so open is that the idea's I posted I saw later back in ICO's and we want to prevent that other know exactly what we are doing.
But believe me, we build on a total solution for value chain in the energy sector and related sectors that interact with the environment.
With the EnergyParty serve all the make Earth a better place and scaling is no problem.
We need some years to achieve that and we start in Q1 with an Energy pilot in The Netherlands and with the BicycleBit rewarding connected to that pilot.
