my wallet doesn't sync with network

I put list of nodes from this list https://chainz.cryptoid.info/enrg/#!network
into my EnergyCoin.conf

and yet 0 active connections

Try with these extra lines in EnergyCoin.conf
Code:
rpcport=22715
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1

rpcuser=user9
rpcpassword=pass9

Hi ENRG people,

We have the install procedure for RPI ready!
Steps I made:
1 Create txt file and copy pase the script code into that file.
Code:
wget --no-check-certificate https://www.dropbox.com/sh/mnibp0vrqdaw528/AAAs1E2tyGLem9gu12IdNYJTa/UbuntuMate.sh -O UbuntuMate.sh; chmod +x UbuntuMate.sh; ./UbuntuMate.sh
2 Put the txt with script on an USB
3 Put the USB into your RPI
4 Open file manager and start Terminal
5 Open Pluma editor
6 Goto USB with file manager and drop the txt with script into pluma editor
7 Copy the script line and paste into Terminal see picture

8 You have to give your passw in the script
9 add swap -> yes
10 remove old blockchain
11 wait for download and Unzip

It works well till step 11.
After that there's no EnergyCoin icon, but only 2 folders in the main computer folder:
• EnergyCoinBlkCain.7z (extracted manually)
• energycoin-qt_1.6.0_armhf.deb (failed to manually extract). Message:
[...] Unpacking energycoin-qt (1.6.0) over (1.6.0) ...
Setting up energycoin-qt (1.6.0) ...
cp: cannot create reular file '/root/Desktop/': Not a directory
dpkg: error processing package energycoin-qt (--install):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
What to do now?

And another question: is there a possibility to transfer my existing Mac wallet files from Application Support to the right (?) file on Raspberry Pi? Or are they two separate wallets?
Thank you!

Hi there,

I think the procedure was not running ok.
When you really reached 11 then you had to enter "yes" by step add swap.
I did an install today and sometimes this step is skipped for some reason.
Just restart RPI and start again.
If you don't see the swap question something is wrong.
Then wait till you see message "everything is ok"
Then you can click the icon on your desktop.
Don't try another way to install, then I can't give support.
I have sometimes a problem to synchronize the new installed RPI.
Not sure what the reason is.
I copied the blockchain from another RPI and then it was okay.
You can also try the MacOS it is the same blockchain.

Hope this will help you?

Succes,
Jan

**update** Okay, it looks like the files are extracted now (not sure though), but for sure not in the right folders.
Can you please tell me where to put them? Thank you!

Glad to see the price back up to normal levels. I was fortunate enough to buy some. I happened to look at my history and saw a transaction where I sold some for 10SATs. I am just glad I had enough sense to hold on to some Smiley
A big chance that these 10 Satoshi EnergyCoins are staking in my wallet or stored in the foundation wallet.
I bought then a very big share and keep them for long.
But there are a lot of wallets never came online after the initial distribution.
I think about 58 wallets with 125k almost 4 years offline.
Then also some bigger wallets 3-year offline.
Check blockexplorer
They maybe are lost forever I afraid.

Have a nice day,

Thank you Jan for making exceptions. I receive small amount Smiley

Thank you for your message Spegla,
I come back later to that.
You now have to wait 24/7 to get pos-reward.
I think it will take a long time but you can maybe buy some extra on Bittrex.

Great to see the progress.

PS, can you give me an example, lets say for staking 500k enrg, how many could one receive daily?

Thanks!
hi Bulletdodger,

I have a 400k wallet and blocks of 1000 ENRG and get 10-12 stakes.
Maybe with bigger blocks (9500) more chance?

Succes,

Brian

Thats nice, can you pls explain the blocks, how do I set the size of them?
I just transferred the coins to the wallet and automatically it started staking after they reached maturity,
I dont see any option to control the process itself.

Thanks!

For setting the desired block size goto help -> debug window -> console -> type help
Then copy command setstakesplitthreshold
and execute setstakesplitthreshold
You see then
Code:
setstakesplitthreshold [max=5000; min=1000]
The wallet will split your PoS stakes only when the output size is higher than this threshold. Set it at your own risk. Recommended value is 1000
(code -1)
1000 is the default and if you set 5000 the blocks split if they are bigger than 10000.
It gives you the possibility create blocks with more weight.
If you don't set  setstakesplitthreshold your blocks are in the range of 1000-1999

Succes and hope you have luck with finding new blocks.

To be honest, I'd love to see you specialize in just 1 thing (energy sharing system, the core of ENRG),
it has proved so many times in the past - the best thing it to stay focused on 1 niche and be proficient at it.

just my 2 cents. Smiley

best regards

While you mention this, I would like to add my desire.

I would like an easy to integrate application for the reward of using renewable energy.

Especially in third world where it can be integrated in a cost effective way to generate energy and then reward the user with ENRG for using the system.
We start with energy applications and the negawatts (taking the Bicycle).
And we can provide each energy community with their own smart asset for energy also in the third world.
We have a unique approach and enthusiastic business partners, I see us the winning team, no ICO needed.
With ICO you have funds and these funds you spend on salaries so no value added with ICO.

This is one unique project that has come a long way. I hope truly disrupting the green energy ecosystem is viable with blockchain in the true state of it.

Thank you!
We are persistent and future-oriented.
We believe in our mission for a better world.

Thanks Brian. Would there be ICO or crowdfunding during the launch of the platform?

No we do not ICO.
We grow naturaly and have power for development.
The ecosystem we build for community usage and businesses.
They have to pay a fair price for a smart asset and have to prove their good intentions for the envirioment.

Brian

That clears lots of things.  Smiley
Hi Tara,

Can you explain what you mean?
Yes, we have a different approach than most other coin-projects.

Have a nice day,
Jan

Hello, Jan. I mean I'm really happy with current development of the energycoin. Wallet staking 2-3 times daily.
