Hi ENRG people,
We have the install procedure for RPI ready!
Steps I made:
1 Create txt file and copy pase the script code into that file.
wget --no-check-certificate https://www.dropbox.com/sh/mnibp0vrqdaw528/AAAs1E2tyGLem9gu12IdNYJTa/UbuntuMate.sh -O UbuntuMate.sh; chmod +x UbuntuMate.sh; ./UbuntuMate.sh
2 Put the txt with script on an USB
3 Put the USB into your RPI
4 Open file manager and start Terminal
5 Open Pluma editor
6 Goto USB with file manager and drop the txt with script into pluma editor
7 Copy the script line and paste into Terminal see picture
8 You have to give your passw in the script
9 add swap -> yes
10 remove old blockchain
11 wait for download and Unzip
It works well till step 11.
After that there's no EnergyCoin icon, but only 2 folders in the main computer folder:
• EnergyCoinBlkCain.7z (extracted manually)
• energycoin-qt_1.6.0_armhf.deb (failed to manually extract). Message:
[...] Unpacking energycoin-qt (1.6.0) over (1.6.0) ...
Setting up energycoin-qt (1.6.0) ...
cp: cannot create reular file '/root/Desktop/': Not a directory
dpkg: error processing package energycoin-qt (--install):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
What to do now?
And another question: is there a possibility to transfer my existing Mac wallet files from Application Support to the right (?) file on Raspberry Pi? Or are they two separate wallets?
Thank you!
Hi there,
I think the procedure was not running ok.
When you really reached 11 then you had to enter "yes" by step add swap.
I did an install today and sometimes this step is skipped for some reason.
Just restart RPI and start again.
If you don't see the swap question something is wrong.
Then wait till you see message "everything is ok"
Then you can click the icon on your desktop.
Don't try another way to install, then I can't give support.
I have sometimes a problem to synchronize the new installed RPI.
Not sure what the reason is.
I copied the blockchain from another RPI and then it was okay.
You can also try the MacOS it is the same blockchain.
Hope this will help you?
Succes,
Jan
