Hey, just a quick one:
my wallet on Windows is offline (0 connections), how can I fix it?

Thanks!

Add this conf file to your energycoin folder.

https://ufile.io/ylmq5

I did, and downloaded the whole blockchain to the folder, and it doesn't work,
still says "out of sync". Any ideas?

thanks

Hi,

try to add this nodes, I just took out of my wallet. I'm connected in them

87.98.182.171

104.128.225.215

77.172.140.65

223.134.228

Good luck

Do you have a EnergyCoin.conf file in your EnergyCoin wallet folder?
If not then create it, see example in the OP: EnergyCoin Boodstrap server
And you can addnode from the EnergyCoin Blockexplorer

what is wrong with current mac wallet?
@Smartcrypto,

Sometimes it works okay sometimes not.
We fix that after the fork for sure!
Sorry for that but we now focus first on the new code and than fix mac wallet.
We had not much users ask for that wallet till now.
If you wish use a RaspberryPI for staking or find a windows PC.

Regards,
Brian

I ask because maybe if I recompile it on mac it might fix the problem. maybe a problem in compile software you use.

It is great if you can try!

Thank you for the answer!

Is there a minimum amount of coins I need to hold?

Do I need to keep my wallet open or closed? (like Nem) in order to gain rewards?

We have fixed reward op 5 ENRG for each block.
One day to mature no extra coinage.
About 1M new coins created each year.
And about 30% of coins are online that is a avarage rate of about 3% when you stake 24/7.
Keeping wallet offline give no profit and you can open the wallet for minting only.
So your wallet is protected if you open for minting only.

Happy staking,

Brian

Hey Brian,
please let us know when there will be news with Mac OS wallet (it's currently not functioning as you know).
I'm guessing Win wallet works normally.

Thanks a bunch and keep up the good work, ENRG will be huge, no doubt.

Hi Brian,

I am faily new to this coin, it looks very promising. I have installed the wallet and have some mature coins, but the 'expected reward' varies in days between 50 and 80. Is this correct and is there a way to stake faster?

Regards FH
Hi Frank,

Welcome to ENRG famaly!
To stake faster you can add more ENRG to your wallet.
But after the fork we start a program also reward extra the nodes with not so much ENRG.
Then you need registration and provide you IP address so we can monitor that you support the network 24/7.
There are only about 535 blocks each day see EnergyCoin Blockexplorer
So large wallets benefit more but we want to support also small wallets.
The details for that we provide after the fork is final in Q3 this year.

Happy staking,
Brian

Thank you, I will keep an eye out for the fork Smiley

Is there any benefit for the average user that simply hold EnergyCoin in the wallet?

Any rewards for long-term holders? some sort of stake rewards such as other PoS/PoI coins got Harvest/Rewards/Commissions/Dividends/Fee's just for keeping the coins/tokens inside the wallet.. offline or online wallet

Else what is the Proof of stake of this coin?

I am interested to buy hence why asking

Year 1: 10% interest
Year 2: 8%
Year 3: 6%
Year 4: 4%
Year 5: 2%
Next : 1%

I also am surprised to see energy being traded with hundreds of Bitcoins volume among top coins. People should be very careful to join any coin during such pumped situation because dev is legit and honest person but these pumpers are not. Think well before putting your hard earned money into any coin, which has gained value in short time, is being manipulated.

That's incorrect. Stake rewards are now fixed at 5 coins per block. It's written on the OP of this thread. What are you looking at an old and outdated thread for?

And why is that other guy asking about things that can be found on the first post? Are we supposed to repeat the same things on every page for you?

Any long term rewards ? If you bought on this from January at 500satoshi price , you would have a nice x10 reward of your initial investment !
It is what is happening with all the LEGIT long term coins !
