Is there any actual reason linux is better? The polling rate of cgminer should be orders of magnitude more limiting than any operating system aspects. I'm on gig with about 2ms latency, but still need to get around to setting up linux.

This isn't right. I'm mining at 1 MH/s and i have just 3 orphans :-s
Doesn't show me shares rejected or accepted or nothing.
Again, are you mining with reaper? I also don't get any accepted with cgminer.
